My First Pencil Sketch After 12 Years

I hope you are doing great. Today, almost 12 years later, I am drawing this scenery. I had done the last drawing in class five.

Last week, I saw some beautiful drawings on this platform. Through that drawing, I inspired myself to try this one. And doing this drawing, I feel that it is difficult to draw. Seriously, at that moment I realized I needed to attend a drawing class.

To do this pencil sketch, I need some meterials.

These are:

• Sketching Paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Cut compass

Step-by-step instructions for creating this pencil sketch

Step 1

Using a cut compass at the middle point of the paper, I did a circle. I draw a straight line in the middle of this circle.

Step 2

I drew a curving road that I wanted to create, starting from the right side of the straight line. This road should be wide. I added fences on the left side of the road.

Step 3

In the middle left of the circle, I drew a little hut. First, I slanted the roof, then made it rectangular (wall). I included two windows and one door in this hut.

Step 4

Beside the hut, I draw small trees or bushes. On the left side of the fence, I draw two smaller trees. Use simple curved lines for the foliage and thinner lines for the trunks and branches. And on the right side of the road, I add a large tree.

First I draw the trunk, then sketch the branches and general outline of the foliage. I try to keep the leaf's shape light and airy.

Step 5

Also added a few birds in the sky by using a V shape. I gave the final touch by adding shading roads, trees, and leaves.

For the first time, I did a pencil sketch. I know I did not do it properly, but I hope I’ll improve by practicing more.

Before starting this drawing, I watched some YouTube videos so that I got some idea of how to draw. When I started drawing and put a pencil in my hand at that time, I closed my eyes and blended my imagination with the drawing video I watched. And finally, I made this drawing.

Note: I took this image on my own phone and created two college frames using by gallery (college from option) the model of my phone is Realme-C21.

I hope all the senior artists please give me some instructions so that I can improve my drawing skills.
