The story of 3rd September,2024 | I visited the hospital to see a patient, accompanied my cousin to buy a phone.
My maternal grandfather has been suffering from a complicated heart disease for the past few days. He's an 80 year old man who has always been a man of love, affection and guidance for me. Even at his age he continues to contribute to society and our family. But with age people lose to senility.

When I learned that he was admitted to Chittagong Max Hospital, I was eager to visit him. For the first two days, he was in the High Dependency Unit for specialized treatment, so all family members were not allowed to see him. On Monday, his condition improved and he was moved from the HDU to a cabin. I immediately went to the hospital to visit him.
Since he couldn't eat heavy food, I brought him green coconut water. One thing that can be noticed when going to the hospital is that the number of patients is constantly increasing. Due to unhealthy lifestyles and diets, even teenagers are now suffering from various physical problems that were once rare. A visit to the hospital highlights the importance of our health.
Unfortunately many people living below the poverty line in our country cannot afford treatment in private hospitals. And due to irregularities and corruption in the government hospitals, they are deprived of better medical services. After thinking about all these things, I think how helpless the neglected people are and shows the need for improvements in healthcare.
During my visit with grandfather, I tried to talk on our friendship rather than his physical condition. I believe that repeatedly discussing his illness would only to remind him of his situation. Because we know that only when a person is sick, he is admitted to the hospital.
I stayed in the cabin until noon and some other family members joined me. After meeting with everyone, I left the hospital and offered my Asr prayer at a nearby mosque.
In the afternoon I visited Riazuddin Bazar mobile market with one of my cousins. It's a mobile market known for selling second-hand and refurbished phones. My cousin was looking for a high-performance phone on a budget, but new flagship models were too expensive.
We visited several shops, but the sellers were asking for very high prices. We couldn't find the phone we were looking for that day. Then my cousin decided to visit a cosmetics shop and bought the products he needed.
Near the exit of the market a Jhalmuri seller was calling out to customers in his unique way. I hadn't eaten jhalmuri in a long time, so I decided to try one. I remember enjoying jhalmuri with friends when I was in school. There were two varieties and I bought the 10 taka/0.5 STEEM one. It was very spicy, which is the speciality of jhalmuri.
Jhalmuri is a popular street snack in the Bengali, Bihari and Odia cuisines, Assamese cuisine, Tripuri cuisine of the Indian subcontinent, made of puffed rice and an assortment of Indian spices, vegetables, Bombay mix and mustard oil. Wikipedia
I returned home before night. I've been trying to call my maternal grandfather regularly and will visit him again as soon as he is fully recovered. He is a precious person in my lifeand I pray for his continued health and long life.
Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.
It was a nice learning post. I agree with you. Talking with a sick person about his sickness may discomfort him mentally. There is nothing to talk about our govt: hospitals and their hospitality.
Hello brother @ripon630 , how are you? Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful moments of your whole day with us through this post. You visited the hospital yourself, and bought a new phone for your cousin which is really appreciable. You had a wonderful day, stay well.
Hi, Greetings, Good to see you Here:)
The hospital is such a painful place. Body and human pain in every human being. I pray from my heart. And don't forget to thank the Creator at this time. It affects me. Good luck brother.🥰
