Hello everyone, hope you're all doing great. Who doesn't love a holiday? It's the perfect time to do things differently. As always, my weekends are extra special.
After a good night's sleep, I woke up feeling refreshed. Towhen I saw at breakfast that my mom had made a special pitha which made my morning even brighter.
The sweet crêpes are made with rice flour, before being filled with a combination of spiced coconut and date molasses. Wikipedia
These were patisapta pithas, made with rice flour and filled with a sweet coconut mixture. I personally prefer them without coconut, so I enjoyed mine plain. They were very delicious.
After breakfast, My father and I went to tend to our garden. We usually spend our weekends doing these gardening task. Our garden has various fruit trees and my attention was drawn to the jackfruit tree.

Two jackfruits were almost ripe, so I went back to the house to get our sickle so we could pick them. After finishing the rest of the gardening, I carried the jackfruits in a bag back home.
I then took a shower because I had to go to the mosque for Jumm'ah prayers. After lunch and a short rest, I went on a little trip with my two friends Hridoy and Emon.
On the way, we stopped at a petrol pump to fill up our bikes. Our initial plan was to go to Patenga beach but due to time constraints we decided to visit the Gunner Training Area. We had to buy separate tickets for the three of us and for parking our bikes.

The entrance road was quite impressive and would capture anyone's attention. After inside, we offered our afternoon prayers. No matter where we go we should never delay our prayers. Anyway, I'm sharing some pictures of the area with you.

As you can see from the pictures, you can understand how popular the place was with tourists, which was full of people from all sides. We friends sat on the green grass for some time and enjoyed the view of nature and sea side. Enjoying the sunset in the evening was the best moment of the day.
After sunset, we left the place and headed home. There was a new food court that had opened in our market area, so we stopped by to try their food. Along with other dishes, we tried their special mint lemon tea. Per cup price 30 Taka/1.5 STEEM.

The food was delicious. I enjoyed the lemon-mint drink with my friends. I paid the bill and then returned home, offered my evening prayers and had dinner. All the activities throughout the day made my weekend very enjoyable.
Assalamu Alaikum, sir, thank you. To show us your activities throughout the day. The pie you ate from your mother's hand in the morning looks a little like steamed pita, and the processing is like the whole steamed pita. The afternoon sun after you go for a walk is so beautiful to see.

Very nice to read your post and really we should spend special time on holidays and those days we don't have other work pressure and we can leave the whole week work and enjoy this day with our family or friends.
