Assalamualaikum to everyone. Yesterday was like an Eid day for me. The joy of expressing love for the Prophet is something that only true happiness can be found in the joy of Eid.

Throughout the week, I was busy with various responsibilities in preparing the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi with the people of my community. Every year on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal according to the Arabic calendar, we celebrate the birthday of our beloved Prophet with joy and happiness.

As soon as I woke up in the morning, I had breakfast and took a bath. On this day we celebrate it as Eid and it is more enjoyable with new clothes. After taking a bath, I got ready and applied the best ator, getting ready for the procession.

The festival was held in the Sholashahar area of our Chittagong city, where Muslim brothers from far and wide come with their own decorated vehicles. We had rented a bus in advance so that everyone in our area could participate in the program.

The bus arrived in front of our area on time and we set a specific time for everyone so that those who would participate in the festival with us could arrive on time. Exactly at 9 am, we left from in front of our area with everyone in the bus and reached the city at 10:30 am where the festival was to be held.

As always, lots of Muslim brothers participated in the festival and according to the media news, there were about many lakh Muslims present in the procession this time. In this festival, we all Muslim brothers gather from far and wide and celebrate the arrival of the Prophet by sending Dorud upon him and following religious rituals.

I participated in the rally with everyone in my area and recite Dorud upon the Prophet. We still had some other rituals to do and we were also hungry, so I went to a restaurant with my friends to eat something.

We ordered paratha and dal bhaji for ourselves. This spicy dal with paratha was quite delicious. The parathas were very large in size, so everyone had one only. Along with that, I ordered three cups of tea. I took quite a few pictures while eating. The total bill for our food was 180 taka/9 STEEM.

Then we returned to the festival and completed the remaining rituals. Around 1 pm, we all prayed to the Creator for the welfare of the people of the world. Then we set off to return home. On the way, we got off at a location that is very popular with travelers.

This is called Bayezid Link Road. I have also traveled here before. The road between the two hills is quite beautiful, especially a peaceful place to hang out. Then I returned home had lunch and rested for a while.

In the afternoon, I had to go to the garage again because the bike's engine oil needed to be changed. I went to a garage I knew and had the bike's oil changed and some other minor work done by the mechanic.

Then I returned home and got ready and went to the mosque at night. Every year on the day of Eid-e-Miladunnabi, a prayer gathering is organized in our area mosque and after the gathering all the Muslims present are served dinner, but the problem is that everyone has to eat standing here.

The space in the mosque courtyard is very small, so many people had some difficulty eating in the crowd. As I am a member of the mosque committee, I volunteered to help distribute food to everyone. After everyone had eaten, we ate with the remaining committee members.

Then I returned home. The whole day passed very happily. I felt very good to be able to attend the program. I hope that if the Creator wills, I will be able to celebrate this festive day again next year.
