Shorshe Hilsha Recipe (āĻ¸āĻ°ā§āĻˇā§ āĻāĻ˛āĻŋāĻļ)
How are you all my steemit friends? Alhamdulillah, I am well with your prayers. Today I will share the recipe for Shorse Ilish cooked. The love of Bengalis for hilsa is not to be said anymore. In monsoons, fried hilsa, hilsa bharta, sarshe hilsa, steamed hilsa, thin broth with hilsa vegetables, curd hilsa, panta hilsa, fried hilsa eggs do not satisfy the taste of Bengali cuisine. Hilsa fish is not only incomparable in taste, but also rich in nutrients.

Hilsa fish pieces | 4 pieces |
Mustard paste | 2 tbsp |
Chopped onion | 1 tbsp |
Onion batter | 1 tbsp |
Raw Chilli | 6-7 tsp |
Turmeric and chilli powder | half teaspoon |
Mustard oil | as quantity |
Salt | as per taste |
First I cut the fish and washed it well. Apply salt and turmeric to the fish and marinate it for 10 minutes. This will allow the salt to penetrate the fish and make the cooked fish tastier. Then the fish should be lightly fried in mustard oil.
Then mustard, green pepper, and salt should be mixed or made into a paste in a blender.If you add raw chili and little salt while mixing mustard, it will not taste bitter after cooking.
After that, take the mustard oil in the pan and first fry the chopped onions lightly. Then lightly brown the onion with batter and fry it. When the onion is fried, add turmeric and chili powder and squeeze it with a little water.
When the masala is ground, add enough water, when the water boils, mix it with the mustard paste. Then add fried fish, pepper, and salt to taste, cover with a lid, and boil for five minutes, mustard hilsha will be ready. If you mix a little mustard oil before pouring it, the flavor comes out very well.
