ভাপা পুলি ও দুধ পুলি পিঠার রেসিপি | Vapa Puli & Dudh Puli Pitha

I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah! I am also well with your prayers and love. Dear friends, today I will share a recipe for making two types of pitha. Bhapa Puli and Dudh Puli Pitha. We all make and eat pitha more or less in winter.

To begin with, I will let you know what ingredients I need to make this recipe. I will show you how to make this pitha very easily. Without further ado, let's start with today's recipe.

Ingredients

2 cups of dry rice flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons of white oil
2.5 cups of water

To make the filling you will need:-
1.5 cups of coconut flour
1 cup of date molasses

For the milk powder
2 cups of milk
1 cup of date molasses
1/4 cup of sugar

Step 1

First, heat water and salt in a pan, add rice powder, mix well, and keep it covered for 10-15 minutes. Then mix well.

Step 2

Then mix it well. Then cut the leech. The steamed puli will be a little bigger in size and the dudh puli will be smaller.

Step 3

To make coconut pur, add coconut flakes, jaggery, and sugar in a pan and stir for a while. If it becomes sticky, remove it. Sorry, the picture of making the pur has been deleted. I don't have the picture.

Step 4

Now take a small portion of the rice pulp, roll it into a ball with your hands, make a small hole in it, fill it with coconut filling, close the mouth tightly and make it into a pulley shape.

Step 5 Dudh Puli

Heat the milk in a big sauce pan and thicken it a little, mix well with date jaggery (mixed with a little milk) and sugar, boil it a little with the pulleys, keep it covered for a while, decorate it, and serve it.

Step 6 Vapa Puli

All the puli should be prepared like this and arranged on a plate. Pour water into a pot and place a steaming tray on top of it arrange them one by one and cover them. They should be steamed on their backs. Open the lid once and turn it over. Cover them again. When the puli is cooked, sprinkle some cold water on them place them on a plate, and serve them hot.

Bhapa Puli should be served hot and Dudh Puli should be served cold. I hope you all liked my little presentation today.
