Hello friends in Steem For Bangladesh, I am pleased to participate in this Project Green and Clean contest organized by @enamul17. This is a good initiative to bring up such a contest as this. This is a way of promoting cleanliness in our society and the consciousness to protect our environment from global warming. Well done @enamul17 for this initiative. In this contest I will be sharing my cleaning work I did at home on Saturday. Just as the saying goes, charity begins at home. Every good morals taught must begin at home. We cannot keep our outer environment clean without first keeping our houses clean. That is the reason I choose to bring my house cleaning here first.

Sometimes if you are a family person and also working, you can become so busy that you may not have time to manage your waste properly. As a result things might become messy. This was my case for last week but thank God for weekend. To keep my environment clean and for easy accessibility, I chose to keep my waste container indoor but this seems to become messy at times as I may have to throw the waste on the floor close to where the waste container is if I happen to be in a hurry to attend to something else. This in turn become an eye sour and even unhealthy. In order to become hygienic and keep the place clean, every Saturday I make it a duty to do the needful by sweeping the waste into disposal bags and mopping the floor to become clean.

In the above picture, that is how the place was and I had to create time to do the cleaning as well as disposed them at the government designated waste disposal place. This is what we should be doing in our homes. First ensure to clean and tidy your waste bin intermittently. If your waste bin is outside where there is no roof to cover, ensure to close or tie the mouth of the container to avoid spillage to liter the environment. If by any chance there is spillage on the floor, ensure to repack everything and properly dispose them at the government disposal location. This will go a long way to help our society to become clean.

I always feel very delighted in doing this work. This work makes my house clean, tidy, refreshing and hygienic. This is the most interesting work in my house and I enjoy doing it regularly. I cannot do without being consistent in this initiative. I encourage everyone to become active and consistent in this initiative. Make your waste management an important part of your weekly schedule. If you are too busy to manage your waste, employ people to manage it for you. Lets keep our homes clean and also our environment clean. Stop disposing your waste in any nearby bush, gutter, rivers, oceans and nongovernment designated places. Let's keep our earth safe.
