Eid mubarak to all of you

I'm @oishymaria. I Wishing of all you pleasant day. I hope all is going well and having a great time. The subject of my writing today is the day of Eid.

Eid Ul Fitr

This Eid day was different from previous days. This year is a little memorable, a little or a lot special for me because this Eid I am the mother of a boy. This Eid was different, not because I was a mother to a son, but because I got to feel the bond of a sister.

My little boy is my pride and joy. Son is the light of my life and has brought so much happiness and joy to our family. Although only a few months old, she already has a sweet and gentle personality. A blessing and a gift from Allah, I am grateful everyday for His presence in my life. This Eid, I want to make sure my son understands how much his family loves and cherishes him. I want my son to understand how important it is to celebrate Eid with our loved ones.

The previous day my elder brother's wife and I had agreed that on Eid she would make semai and I would make jorda polao and shahi pieces.

In the morning, he started doing his famous Nabi Semai. I played khabi several times and watched Bhabhi prepare her favorite dish "Nababi Semai". Bhabhi finished cooking on time.

I have never cooked one in my entire life... So I watched how to cook jorda polao and shahi polao from YouTube and cooked both shahi polao and jorda polao perfectly and served at the right time. It looked good, but I shuddered to think how the food would taste. Before anyone else could say anything, I started singing the praises of my cooking.

At noon the mother-in-law prepared her favorite food. I made sure there was food in every corner of the stomach.

After eating and drinking I fell asleep and drifted off into a blissful dream state in the bedroom. But suddenly I heard someone calling my name very loudly. I opened my eyes and saw my elder brother's wife. He said let's go out, I immediately agreed. How good would life be if I could always live in that dream state?

After chatting for a while, it was almost evening to return home. In the evening I returned home and cleaned myself.

May Allah accept our good deeds and bless us all with health, happiness and abundance in the coming days. May this Eid ul Fitr bring us closer to one another and may its joyous spirit remain with us throughout the year. Ameen.
