What is the national festival of your country? How did it start |

- In my country Pakistan, many national festivals are celebrated, some are Islamic festivals and some are traditional festivals, all festivals bring us different joys.
Each festival is known and celebrated for some special virtue,but today I will talk about my favorite festival which is the national festival of my country and our independence day.
And it came into existence on August 14, 1947 with the name of the foundation of Islam and the name of Kalima Tayyaba.As sacrifices were made to get the country of Pakistan, millions of people became homeless, many parents were separated from their children and children were separated from their parents.
It has been achieved because of these great sacrifices and the way our founder Pakistan worked hard day and night and fought the enemy himself and also highlighted the spirit of getting a separate homeland in the rest of the people.
I am deeply grateful to the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, whose hard work and dedication gave us freedom and this beautiful Islamic country of Pakistan came to us.

- This Independence Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over Pakistan.On this day, people express their passion and love for their country in a unique way.Special forces arrive at the shrine of the founder of Pakistan who parade and give a graceful salute 🫡.
I myself make special clothes on this festival which represent my national flag.On this national festival we decorate our houses, markets and streets with national flags.Various national functions are organized on the occasion of this festival in which national songs, national tableau etc.
are presented to make this national day even more beautiful.
On this day, the enthusiasm of the people is at its peak, seeing the patriotic spirit of the people, the head is even more proud that we are a free nation, we are a living nation, we are a progressive nation.

- Yes, for this national festival of ours, special clothes are prepared, traditional food is prepared.In which green corn bread, lentil, rice and whey are very popular.These are the foods that double our happiness this Independence Day.
Along with food, special gifts 🎁 are also kept for children on this national festival.If we talk about the dress, the shalwar kameez on this national festival of ours is made in green and white colors which represent the colors of the national flag.
- Children and adults dress up in this dress on Independence Day, how can we forget this national day which has been achieved by the hard work and blood of our elders.

Well, there are so many memories associated with this festival that there is no year that I don't celebrate it.From school to college university even at home I celebrate with great enthusiasm,But there is an event associated with this day which I still remember very much and wish to celebrate it there again.
I belong to a small town. Three years ago, my uncle went to perform Hajj. When he returned after performing Hajj, I had to go to Lahore to pick him up from the airport. His uncle's return was on August 14.
- When my family members told me that you are going to Lahore, my happiness was boundless.They left for Lahore on the night of August 13 and reached Lahore early in the morning on August 14.Mamo's flight got late, we all went to Wagga border and there we celebrated independence day with great enthusiasm.
Our Pakistan Army also became a part of our enjoyment.I cut the independence cake from the colonel and he was very happy to give us this patriotic spirit since then this day is very special for me and I can never forget it.

Independence Day is a national public holiday in every country. However, even though it is a holiday, every person of the country has to be more active on this day. Because on this day, various public and private festivals are organized in which the day is completed by the participation of the government military forces as well as the common people.
All the national festivals of that country are celebrated in the most grand manner in the capital of every country. There is no shortage of grandeur in the celebration of independence day. When your uncle returned from the holy Hajj, you went to Lahore on 14th August to receive him. The day was your great independence day of Pakistan. That day you went to Wagga border to celebrate the great independence day. Hope you had a good time that day.

In your country Pakistan, you have festivals that are Islamic while some are traditional, but which ever one is celebrated is geared towards the joy and happiness of the people or citizens. A lot of sacrifices were made just to ascertain this freedom today, lives were lost, children got separated from their parents and same goes with parents but at the end freedom was achieved. It is what you people are enjoying today. And may God bless all the freedom fighters.

Hello ms @mona01, I really like your writing. Independence Day is the most precious day for every country because it is free from colonialism. Every good citizen must be very happy to welcome Independence Day and celebrate it with great enthusiasm. On Independence Day, we can also remember how difficult it was for the nation's heroes to fight against the colonizers.
