Today is December 16, 2024, December is the last month of the year, a year ends with this month and after this month ends, another new year begins, this month of December is called the month of victory for us Bangladeshis, because in this month of December, Bangladesh won the Liberation War, Bangladesh achieved victory on December 16, 1971, since then December 16 has been celebrated as the Victory Day of our Bangladesh.

After a long nine-month war, Bangladesh won the Liberation War on the 16th of this month of December, and through this victory, Bangladesh was established as an independent state in the world. Bangladesh achieved this victory through the honor of millions of martyrs and countless mothers and sisters. The Liberation War of 1971 has become a history for the Bengali nation. The people of Bangladesh will never forget that history. It is the history of achieving independence.

Every year, Bangladesh's Victory Day is celebrated on December 16. All government and private institutions organize various programs on the occasion of this day. Various festivals are organized on the occasion of Victory Day from morning to evening. In the morning, the national flag is hoisted in all institutions of Bangladesh, after which various programs are organized. People from all walks of life of Bangladesh participate in these programs.

Especially on December 16, the martyrs of the Liberation War of 1971 are remembered with deep respect. In the morning, the flag is hoisted at the National Memorial. People from all walks of life lay flowers in memory of the martyrs of the Liberation War. Apart from the National Memorial, there are various other memorials all over Bangladesh. Respect is also shown to them. On the occasion of the National Victory Day on December 16, all government and private institutions in Bangladesh are closed.

On the occasion of Victory Day, various competitions are organized in various educational institutions. Students of those educational institutions participate in those competitions with great enthusiasm. In most educational institutions, competitions are held to draw the Shaheed Minar, the National Flag and the National Memorial on the occasion of Victory Day. Students in those institutions participate in the said painting competition.

Today, on the occasion of Victory Day, on December 16, our village government primary school organized a painting competition. Before the painting competition started, the school celebrated Victory Day. A beautiful banner was made on the occasion of Victory Day. Then the painting competition started among the students. Most of the students did not attend today due to the school holiday.

A few students attended the school and participated in this painting competition. I went to the school and enjoyed the painting competition of the students. Some students drew the Shaheed Minar very beautifully. Some drew the national flag of Bangladesh very beautifully. Some drew the memorial with the national flag very beautifully. It was very nice to see the beautiful drawings of the small students.

After watching their paintings for a while, I went home. Today, on the occasion of Victory Day, special prayers are organized for the martyrs of the Liberation War and all the freedom fighters. I organized this in our mosque. I wish you all a happy Victory Day.
