Food for Mood | Season 5 | tasty pancakes for positive moods
Pancakes are snacks or food I make to fill my stomach,ease my cravings and also lighten up my mood.
The sweet,melting delicious taste it has can change anyone's mood instantly.
Pancakes as I've learnt are enjoyed in most parts of the world and as such have different methods and ingredients.
Its a simple meal that is made from mixing ingredients like flour,eggs,baking powder,sugar,salt,milk,nutmeg etc.
But for me I enjoy making the Nigerian pancake as I would like to call it.
It consist of ingredients like flour,water,milk,eggs,sugar,salt,fresh red pepper,onions,baking powder and oil to grease the pan.
I'd be sharing with you steps in how I make my Nigerian pancakes.
STEP 1
Cut your red peppers and onions into your desired shape and turn them into a bowl
Beat your desired number of eggs and mix it with the pepper and onions.
STEP 2
Add your milk according to your taste and desire into the bowl and stir
Next add a teaspoon of baking powder to the mix and stir
STEP 3
Add Sugar and salt to taste to your desire then stir the mixture
Add two cups of water and stir
STEP 4
Next sieve your flour little by little into the mix and stir
Add water as you go till the mixture is thick
STEP 5
Crease your frying pan with groundnut oil or butter then carefully scoop little quantity of the mix into your pan when its hot and fry for some seconds then turn it to the other side and fry

Your pancake is ready
When I'm craving for pancakes but don't have ingredients to make them I stroll to a bakery and buy the already made one or I try as much as possible and get the ingredients as I enjoy making it myself
I would recommend pancakes as a good food to improve ones mood any day.
