We do some shopping every day, be it our daily necessities, our consumables or household furniture, cosmetics, daily food and entertainment.
When it comes to shopping, we definitely think about the quality of that thing first, then we calculate how much it cost.
I also went shopping that day to buy some of the vegetables and fruits I needed. But the shop I went to is not a market or a shopping mall. That was a Hill fresh food shop.
There is a shop on road number 9 of Uttara, sector number 4 which is a tribal woman owning this shop. Her home district is in Khagrachari, Chittagong Division.so she brings some fresh food for sale every week. Living around the We area they come here at least once a week to shop for essentials.
Here are some fresh and organic vegetables and fruits grown by cultivating Jum, usually in hilly areas.
So I took some organic fruits today that was bananas, and Thai papaya.
I came to this shop to buy fresh fruits and some vegetables like - Cucumber , Gourd, and Dhengki Shak.
I contact the owner of this shop on WhatsApp because every Friday and Tuesday of the week vegetables and fruits come from Khagrachari. So the previous day and night they messaged WhatsApp about what vegetables came and after receiving this message from them, the next day I came and every week one day I came to this shop and bought my essential vegetables and fruits.
In addition to just fruits and vegetables, this store also offers a lot of grocery essential items and homemade baking items.
Don't just list the items you bought. Share your things and feelings about the shopping experience. |

Vegetables, fruit food items are available in shopping malls or markets but most things are chemical mixed. To store raw vegetables and fruits for a long time, various gardeners from the garden give pesticides and also push many hormones to grow in big size. So when you go to buy vegetables or fruits from the market, it seems that everything has some chemicals. So I shop a little less fruits from the comparable market as I can. Try to buy organic vegetables and fruits where you see fruits.
This barely shopping experience is my long time and many stories are rumored with shop owner Suchala coming here. Like hilly area grows a lot of things we don't know and don't even know names. So when I find something new I immediately ask the store owner how to cook or eat it.I ask the name of that thing and he asks me to search that thing on YouTube. Then I searched YouTube to learn more about cooking things.
Here the amount of money is a little more to buy because I have to buy the market thing for 100 taka here for one to one and a half times more.
Where banana hali is available to buy within 30 taka from the market, that banana has to be bought here for 40 taka or steem 1.00 hali, papaya has to be bought for 130-40 taka/steem 3.25 per kg, ginger is currently available in the market for 100 taka/steem 2.5 per kg but if I want to buy Jum cultivated hill ginger I have to count 300 taka/ steem 7.5 have to pay. Hill organic vegetables and fruits have to be bought at a much higher price than the market price.Still I buy fresh and organic vegetables and fruits here. That's because it is much better for him to eat a little less organically cultivated than to eat more chemical vegetables and fruits in the market ,That's because wellness comes first.
Today I bought fruits, vegetable items as well as some products, including muri, which was hand-made fried, and this muri is delicious to eat. There was also Chiaseed, which was worth 800 taka per kg, and the husk of these.
I shopped today for a total of 1150 taka and steem price of 28.75 including papaya, banana, Puffed rice , chia seeds, Isbgul's husk And some vegetables. This shop owner doesn't give any receipt/cash memo so I couldn't show any price list.
My shopping is pretty much over and basically I try to buy papaya and banana. This is why papaya works as a very good medicine for digestion. Papaya and banana turn yellow when ripe but they were green because they were somewhat raw. After two-three days of storage at home they stay very well so I buy a little more while buying so that I can eat for 3-4 days.
Hope you like shopping food diary. You will also try to eat organic and chemical-free fruits and vegetables.
Thank you all on my behalf
Best Regards

Hola amigo veo que hiciste tus buenas compras de verduras orgánicas hoy.
Es muy cierto cuando se compran frutas y verduras en los mercados traen mucho químico es por ello que yo las cultivo en casa, en la calle casí siempre compro son los víveres.
Me agradó leerte.
Hi dear, Thank you very much for your nice feedback on my post.
Honestly every time we buy fruits from the market they get a lot of chemicals. But we can grow a variety of fruits and vegetables only if we have enough land. I have a small garden where I grow some fruits and vegetables organically.
