Contest Steem For Bangladesh : "My Father"

I lost my father nearly 16 years ago. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah. So I don't want to share my dead father's photo anywhere. It is forbidden in our religion also. But I love to participate in contests in my favorite community. @mostofajaman vai has announced a great contest regarding "FATHER". So I would like to share my son's point of view on this topic. Hope you all will like it.

Father is a word that means the world to me. He is an angel to me and helps me during my highs and lows. Father is a word that ends my sorrows and pains.

To me, my fondest memories of my father are quite a handful. A memory I recall is the time he taught me how to swim. I was not getting it and yet every day he taught me with never-ending patience. And after a lot of lessons, I finally was able to learn to swim. And recently I even won a prize at a swimming competition and when I told him he was the happiest one.

Then another time I remember when he taught me how to fish. It was pretty hard but I learned it. And after a while, I caught a big catfish and he helped me bring it to the bank of the pond. I still go fishing sometimes but this will always be one of my favorite aisles in the memory lane.

The greatest lesson my father gave me was when I heard about his life's struggles, I realized that struggle is needed for success. And that life may be hard sometimes even brutal but that doesn't mean we should give up. The one who fights till the very end is the successful one. And the greatest gift I got from him was he himself. For him, I am where I am today for him I know many things that otherwise I wouldn't have known at all. And it is for him that I learned to struggle. His presence is the greatest gift I could ever ask for.

Parents are the guardian angels of the world to a child. My parents guided me through the hardest times of my life and guide me through the easy times. They were my superheroes they were the ones who without a doubt put themselves second to put me first. They were the ones who spent sleepless nights trying to put me to sleep.

I can't tell how much they sacrificed for me. To me, they are the greatest gifts of my light. They are the light of my eyes. From my perspective, a parent's role is the greatest and most vital role in anyone's life.
