Drawing : Drawing of an orange with well pastels.
Hello Everyone, I am @farjana123
From #Bangladesh
Assalamu Alaikum to all. I hope everyone is doing very well by God's grace and wherever they are, I am fine too. Today I am sharing with you my own drawing of a whole orange and a piece of cut orange. At first I was wondering if I could do it because I find this type of drawing a bit difficult. And such works have to be done very carefully. Taking courage, I started drawing it and drew inspiration from a picture I saw. And finally I succeeded hope you like it too.
- Pencil
- Art paper
- Eraser
- Orange oil pastel
- Yellow oil pastel
- Green oil pastel
- Deep blue oil pastel
- Black Signature etc.
First of all I drew two circles with a compass on an art paper. First draw a circle and draw another circle on top of that part.
On the second edge I dabbed orange over a circle and drew on the leaf then I erased half of the other circle and drew on pieces of orange with a black signature.
Next I repainted the entire drawing with a signature black color and erased the pencil marks with an eraser. By doing this, the black spots of the pencil will not spread while painting.
In the next step I colored the skin of the entire orange with a dark orange color and left some parts lighter. I have mixed with yellow color in that light part. Then I mixed the inside of the piece of orange with light orange color and also gave yellow color.
Next I painted part of the leaf. On one side of the shoe I mixed some blue paint with the help of the other side. I have marked the tips of the leaves with dark blue color and mixed it with green color.
This was the last step. In this step I shaded with a pencil and thus I finished my entire drawing.

Nice drawing, only I would suggest that you do a shadow falling from fruits on table otherwise it looks like they are floating in air.
@stef1 thank you mam, I will keep an eye on this from next time.
