Alhamdulillah, Our Global Meetup is happily completed on 06 September 2024.

I am @akbarmia from Bangladesh. I hope everyone is well; Alhamdulillah, I am also well by the grace of Allah. Today, I will share with you the beautiful experience of meetup with Steemian friends from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

As a part of the Global Meetup, the decision of Bangladesh Dhaka Area Meetup was taken a few days ago by our Steem for Bangladesh admin panel and the date was fixed on 6th September 2024. We Dhaka Area Steemians gladly accept it. To complete this meetup beautifully, Steam for Bangladesh's respected admin @ripon0630 and moderators @enamul17 @shiftitamanna, @mdkamran99 and others started the activities by holding several meetings with everyone's opinions and directions. According to everyone's decision Botanical Garden, Mirpur, Dhaka location was selected on 6th September 2024.

We all decided to gather at the appointed place at 11 am. And the place was far from my home, so I woke up at 7 am to freshen up. Then, in the morning, I ate and dressed and left home at 8 am. 11 of us gathered at a place called Jurain, and from there, we left for Mirpur by bus. The roads of Dhaka are usually jammed so we left with time. Alhamdulillah we reached there before the scheduled time. Then everyone meets one by one with tickets. I was very happy to see everyone together as we worked on the same platform but never met each other physically. Everyone exchanged tricks with each other and captured the memories on camera.

Then our moderators hand out our assigned t-shirts to everyone one by one. We all put on the t-shirts, then everyone looked so cute as a bunch of steemians. Then, all together, we did a group photo shoot with the banner, and then each person did a photo shoot differently for how long.
Then our responsible moderators sit down with us and give some important guidance on Steemit.

Lunch Time
Then we went for lunch to a restaurant inside the botanical garden. My food was pre-ordered there. Our food menu consisted of chicken, polao, eggs, salad etc. Food quality was very good. Everyone finished eating and drinking in no time and left for our next important topic to discuss.

During the moderators' speech
After lunch, we sat together in a beautiful place. Then for everyone, our respected admin of Steem for Bangladesh @ripon0630 brother gave important guidance about Steemit in video conference. Then our moderators @shiftitamanna apu, @enamul17 bhai, @mdkamran99 bhai, @mahadisalim bhai and @shahid76 bhai gave an important speech about Steemit. They gave guidance on what Steemit is, how to make a country representative, how to work, and how to create creative and quality content and they shared their experiences to inspire us.

Then our quiz competition begins. There, @enamul17 bhai conducts the quiz, and we all participate. Nominated for quiz prize @kuhinur apu. Then our cultural program started, where some of us performed songs. Later moderators served ice cream on behalf of Steam for Bangladesh. Then our beautiful program is declared closed.

I joined Steemit in July 2024. I feel lucky to have attended such a meetup program within 2 months. In the new situation, I got to know the senior brothers and sisters of Steemit and got important guidance. Which is a big inspiration for my work.
