See the preserved archeological statues and see the preserved war tools as a witness to the history of the museum.
Assalamu Alaikum friends,
Today's diary is special for me, today I saw some archeological statues of Bangladesh in Dinajpur museum and some tools used in the liberation war of Dinajpur which made me emotional. Let's get into the diary.
I woke up in the morning, brushed and freshened up and had breakfast. My friend called me saying he doesn't understand the shame of air drops and called Taibama out. I met him at the tea-stall and explained the tasks on his mobile and we were drinking tea.
I came home and took a bath and went to the mosque to offer Zohr prayer. After praying, I returned home and had lunch. I have not been going to the library for a few days. Today I will go to the library and visit the museum under the library.
I left home and took auto to library and signed attendance book and chatted with Raju bhai of library. I started studying in the meantime my friend was coming. Along with my friend we sometimes talk about studies and job recruitment exams. Asr call is let's go to prayer. I went out and went down to the mosque to pray. After finishing Namaz, I am waiting to enter the museum because the person in charge of the museum did not come from Namaz.
I bought a ticket for 5 rupees and the official told me that no photography is allowed inside the museum. I asked for permission to take pictures of the equipment used in the liberation war, but they allowed me to take pictures of the statue. I visited the entire museum and the information about the people who were martyred during the Dinajpur war and what profession they were engaged in and the clothes used during the war are preserved here. A freedom fighter has his clothes with blood stains on his body. Mortarshell shells and various bullets and firearms used during the Liberation War are housed here along with many salvaged wartime equipment.
During the liberation war, the only means of getting information was the radio which belonged to a local freedom fighter and the radio is preserved here. Many images and documents of the liberation war are preserved in this museum.
Now here are some archeological idols of 1947 or earlier, most of which are Vishnu idols which have been recovered intact or broken by the Archaeological Department from different places of Greater Dinajpur district. Most of these idols are made of black granite. Also here are bows and arrows made by Bashar used by people of Southal religion before 1947. Swords of kings or generals used in wartime, collected from local palaces. I finally took a few pictures of the statues after the other visitors had gone out with permission again (they gave permission on condition not to upload to Facebook or YouTube).
I came out of the museum and went to the library again and after a short time I came out of the library when Maghrib adhan came and I was walking in the night city after praying.
Good luck to you.
I wish you well
