Este artículo se lo dedico al mayor exponente del Rockabilly Brian Setzer cantante y guitarrista líder de la Banda Stray Cats, quienes nunca se dejaron llevar por lo comercial de la industria musical, convirtiéndose en los mayores exponentes del género Rockabilly.
Nacido en New York el 10 de abril de 1959 y como declararía en una entrevista: "al ser expulsado de su escuela a los 8 años, empecé a escuchar los Rolling Stones, allí comenzó todo y no he parado "
Empezó desde los 14 años a meterse en las aguas profundas de rock and roll y rockabilly.
Con el increíble Trío de músicos Stray Cats formados en 1980 y 13 discos en su haber. Se separarían en el 2004 pero seguiría su camino con dos proyectos más.
Banda de 17 músicos llamada Brian Setzer Orchesta seguiría sumando muchos álbumes increíbles. Pero como si no fuese suficiente crea el proyecto : Brian Setzer Rockabilly Riot.
Y como él mismo se hace llamar el gato encopetado se da el tupé de hacer su música y nutrir más y más el género del Rockabilly.
Finalmente para el 2019 y en celebración de los 40 años reúne a los Stray Cats haciendo una gira increíble.
Brian Setzer tanto influyó con un mismo tipo de guitarra las hollows bodys Gretsch, que empezó a diseñarle modelos y cuenta con su propia signature. Tanto así que para los años 80 la empresa Gretsch dispararía la venta en todos sus modelos.

This article is dedicated to the greatest exponent of Rockabilly Brian Setzer, singer and lead guitarist of the Stray Cats Band, who never got carried away by the commercials of the music industry, becoming the greatest exponents of the Rockabilly genre.
