The Diary Game: 5th September, 2020: My Saturday

Dear diary, most times I don't really understand how the time fly. It moves so fast that when you thought that you have enough time to do what you planned out before you know it, its already dark.

We woke up quite early, observed morning devotion after which I went back to bed because it was 6:30am, it was too early to go tend to the poultry. Surprisingly, I woke up by 9am😯. Didn't plan to sleep this long, its OK.

Poultry Birds
I went to put in water and feed for the poultry birds before commencing my morning chores, after finishing up with the poultry birds, I gave my niece a bath and fed her and as usual, she left for my neighbors house while I continued with my duties.

When I was done, I had my bath and had breakfast. After eating, my niece came back home because my neighbors senior daughter who is looking after the younger ones is going out to come back later. She came home crying, it was cartoon that ended the tears.

We watched cartoon together, while I plugged my phone to charge. When it was charged, She was watching cartoon while I was busy preparing my post. Later in the day I served her lunch, while I was feeding her, my mum came back from her journey. She ran to welcome my mum and left the food.

Native Pear
Normally anytime my mum comes back from the shop, she checks her bag for biscuits or sweet. This case was no different, she started the search and found biscuit in the bag. Apart from the native pear which is what I like, she also bought garden eggs. Am not a fan of garden eggs because it has a little bitter taste most especially the green ones and that the type mum bought.

After emptying the bags and putting things in their right places, we started out to prepare soup to store in the refrigerator. While coming, mum bought the things needed for the soup apart from meat and fish. She left to get the remaining things while I put other things together.

When we were done, I gave my niece a bath after which I went in to relax a bit before having dinner. After dinner, we also had the native pear for desert before I went to bed.
