The Diary Game: 15th September, 2020: My Practical

Dear diary, I woke up and brushed my teeth. I went out to buy bread for tea this morning.

FoodCo
This is Iwo road, Ibadan, Oyo State. I hoped to buy the bread from the street but the sellers are yet to open their shop, so I had to walk down to FoodCo in Odua Shopping Center to buy the bread. When I got to FoodCo, that was when I recalled that I forgot to take along with me my nose mask. That was because I didn't plan on waking to this direction, I wasn't allowed to enter into the supermarket without nose mask. I had to plead with one of their workers to help me buy the bread because I didn't extra cash to buy another nose mask.

When I got home, after eating, I got ready for work. I had registered in a cake training class to improve on my skill. That's one of the cake that was done yesterday, while the second design, is the one I did while practicing with a dummy. I got to watch my colleagues while they were practicing their design with the dummy so I could understand how its been done. When they were through practicing how to design with butter frosting, I got to learn from them. That was my first time doing butter icing.

Marriage Cake

When we were done, this cake was baked this morning to be used for a traditional marriage this weekend but will be designed tomorrow. Some part is still in the oven, what we did later was to wrap using a fancy bag small piece of the cake that will be distributed at the occasion. I forgot to capture it when we were done wrapping it.

Buying Petrol
It was already evening and there isn't any other work to do, so we(I and my neighbor) later went home. When we got home, we prepared rice, beans and stew for dinner. After cooking, we went to buy petrol for the generator. For some days now, our light has been faulty awaiting repair. We came back, later put on the generator so we could charge our phone before I slept.
