THE DIARY GAME : 1st AUGUST, 2020:

What a great day today was!

I woke up this morning feeling so heavy of sleep due to the fact that I didn't sleep early the day before. I didn't sleep early because I had to finish some project, I am a freelancer and my time was running so fast that sleep didn't come.

Fast forward to how my day began. I had my devotion as a normal Christian would do, then I walked around my house to do some necessary chores before stepping out of the house. Since today was a free day from office work. I stay with with my family in case you are wondering why I had to do house chores.

I ate my morning meal then wore my round neck flowered material and left the house after telling my family members how my journey for the day would be. Then I strolled out to the main road to grab a taxi called ''Korope" in Yoruba, meaning mini-bus. My primary destination was to go check a family member who happens to be my aunty. She stays at the next bus stop from my area hence my reason for going there first. The name of the area is called "Otaefun" which is translated as "powdered bullet"

When I got there, she received me with warm greetings and gave me meat and chilled drink. After a while, we got talking and talking till I got tired of talking. So I timed myself to leave her house in few minutes. When the time was complete, I made an urgent announcement to go deliver something to a friend and that was how I left her house.

My next move was to a friend's place at Igbona, not to deliver anything but just to see her face after a very long time. But to my biggest surprise, I met the door to her house locked obviously because she had gone to a far distance. She doesn't lock her door whenever she was near by. I picked up my phone and called her line but it was switched off, so I left few minutes later.

The last place I went to was my older brother's apartment at kobo area. He stays alone since he finished from university last two years. Although he visits us almost every time so it didn't feel like I was going there on a special visit. Visiting him today made a difference from other days because we had fun. After spending some times indoor, he asked me to follow him to the next compound with his acoustic guitar. We played and sang for a long time and it was really awesome. In conclusion, I left my brother's house when it was getting dark. I told him how much fun I had and we talked about some random stuffs then I left for home. I got home quite late feeling very tired. The only thing on my mind next was to eat and sleep. After doing so, I tool my bath and went straight to the my room to prepare for Sunday's church service.

That's how my day was spent on the 1st of August,2020.
