Have you ever tried to eat kare kare and crispy pata this time ? Well since most of us cannot go for a dine in because of pandemic ,I just want to share these two favorite filipino food usually cater in our dining table. The most popular kare kare and crispy pata.

I bought this Kare Kare at Barrio Fiesta together with Crispy Pata and bring home so the family can eat together without any fear of dine in in a crowded area.

Kare-kare which derives from the word curryis a Philippine stew that features a thick savory peanut sauce. Basically this food is made from a base of stewed oxtail, beef tripe, pork hocks, calves feet, pig's feet or trotters, various cuts of pork, beef stew meat, and occasionally offal. Added veggies like eggplant, Chinese cabbage, green beans, okra, and asparagus beans, This is flavored with ground roasted peanuts or peanut butter, onions, and garlic. But ofcourse, you can choose your own preference.

Crispy Pata Is a Filipino dish made from pork leg, usually from the hock to the trotters. Cooking in a deep-fried but it can also be cooked in the oven. Any cooking process can be done as long as the result is crispy skin .
