The Diary Game Season 3 | 11-Nov-2021 | Low Cost Group Outing at Isla Noah
Hello everyone, a very warm greeting to all of you.
Today I want to share with you how I spent my day at Isla Noah beach, our cheapest outing this year. This place is located at Mactan Island, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. It's a public beach, so it's free, unless you use the cottage which only costs 100 pesos. The cottage fee is more of a donation to keep the place clean.
Beach Budget: $0.27 SBD
My day started at six o'clock in the morning. I woke up early to prepare some food for our beach outing. My friends and I decided to do potluck for our meal, which means we should each bring food to be shared to everyone. I contributed my very own stir-fried rice noodle dish with pork and vegetables, also known as pancit. This is my recipe for our outing:
Pancit Recipe:

Total Cost of Pancit: $0.65 SBD
After cooking, I immediately packed my bag which contained essential items for our beach getaway. I already told my husband about this the night before and he was very supportive. He said I needed a relaxing day and that I should have fun with my friends.
The place is great. There is a parking space right outside the gate. Plus, there is no need to spend so much money to have fun . This is perfect for anyone who is looking for low cost outing ideas.
My friends and I were having a good time talking and catching up with each other's lives. It has been years since we went on a trip together because life has been busy and we had lots of responsibilities at home and at work. But the moment we reconnect feels like yesterday.
We still have that special bond that we shared way back then. There was never an awkward silence or uncomfortable moment during our conversation today. We talked about life, about our kids, spouses, and the memories we had when we were younger. Truly, our friendship has stood the test of time and distance. I am so glad to be part of this small group and I have always considered them as family. I feel like I belong here.
Wow, how I love this place! This is a perfect destination to chill out with friends, and bring a picnic dinner. Who says you have to spend a lot of money for a beach getaway?
I went home happy and fulfilled. This has been an amazing day with my good friends and the place is very lovely. I am thankful for this day.
