Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week #4 - Black and White Photography: The Barefooted Children

Good day Philippines! Here I am again in this community participating in this photography contest with the theme Black & White Photography and sharing my best photo that captured when we're giving slippers to the children in the midst of this pandemic.
In this world full of trials and challenges in life, sometimes we are blind to face the reality and forgot the true meaning of life which is to be happy and contented.
For me, happiness and contentment are the perfect recipe to live life to the fullest. Let's say when you are happy and not contented or vice versa you're not genuinely feel the true meaning of life. That's why I simply described that the two are the perfect combination because contentment promotes happiness and without it life is nothing.
This children caught my attention playing around barefooted and as I looking at them they can't feel the pain of the stones or whatsoever debris in the land that make their foot hurt as long as they are happy, contented and enjoy the life that they have. So, I go to them and asked for a picture for keeps for the day will come when I will be old I have flashback memories. And I also told them to wear their face mask properly and I gave to those who don't have.
Seeing every child barefooted is not good to see especially when you've experienced it before. Honestly, I haven’t even experienced what they are experiencing today but I can still feel the pain they are experiencing for being barefooted.
The picture that shown above is I am with the street children and I will simply defines it that in life, let's just be kid once and we cannot get back however much we want. because only in our youth can we feel life with no worries and without other problems but to take a bath, eat, play and sleep.

Wow! this is a great capture @jufranketchup. Indeed true, we all live different lives this photo depicts how one should always be grateful for all the blessings received be it small or big.
For these kids, life for them is just simple as long as they are doing things that makes them happy. They don't complicate life the way adults do.
