Diary Game Season 3 • 10-04-22•

A pleasant day again fellow steemians. For today's blog I will share with you about my experience visiting the place where my parents stay and work during midweeks. But before that, i just want to share why they were there.

So it started when our crop were damaged by the flood, our parents begun to worry about our financial expenses like what if the money they were earning in farming was not enough to sustain our daily needs, because we are four siblings and the two are currently studying as highschool and elementary student. Our parents then started to seek another job for more income. An opportunity came when one of her friends in Facebook offered a job and that is to take care of someone's fishpond while the fishes are growing until they're grown enough to be harvested. They will also feed and take care of many dogs (more than five) in that place. But they don't stay there the whole week since they also have their obligations to do here in our home and outdoors during weekends. So it is month of August when they begun the job and they've been doing it until today.

Anyway here is my experience. Tuesday at that time when they invited us to stay there and told us to prepare clothes and blankets because we will be staying there for three days. That's fine for me so I agree to come with them since I want to know how was their life there and I want to unwind from doing household chores alone here in our home. By the way I am alone here in our house but not alone at all because my neighbors are my grandparents and uncles. So I'm alone when my brothers go to school while my sister works at a lomihan every Monday to Thursday and I am left here in the house since I do not yet have a work so I do the household chores and take care of my siblings, even when in fact I think my younger brother next to me can also be responsible alone.

When we arrived at that place, many dogs met and barked at us but they didn't bite. The house had a rooftop, the area are surrounded by trees like narra, rambutan, citrus, lemon, calamansi, papaya and mahoganies which makes it a lovely place since it has more oxygen, the air is fresh. They also have bougainvilleas in front.

There I saw their routine. Father wakes up early like 4 in the morning, he cooks for our breakfast including the food for the more than five dogs. After we ate, my mother washed the dishes and prepares the dog's foods. My younger brother prepared for school because he has a class that time but the youngest brother has no class because that week was for set B students. When he's ready father took him to school.

So its the three of us left- me together with mother and bunso (the youngest sibling). While my youngest brother were waiting for father to go fishing, I asked him to play, we played truth or dare asked simple questions and simple dares. When we're done with that, I left him and went to the rooftop because I am going to get internet connection since the connection was very poor when I'm inside. I'm kind of nervous going upstairs because they told me the dog sleeping there were fierce and mad willing to bite you but because of my eagerness to check up on my account in Facebook I just pulled bravery in me. Yes the dog barked at me wildly, but I just walked calmly while calling his name slowly multiple times so he won't see me like a villain so there, he just left me alone at the rooftop. I can see the trees and I can feel the fresh air. I checked my account and there were no new notifications and messages so I just watched videos like clip of teleseryes and vlogs.

After awhile my brother shouts and called my name from below. He wants me to accompany him going on the fishpond to go fishing so I went down and accompanied him, we had one stick with hook so he's the one holding it. After a moment he got one little fish then three more after a while. Mother told us to be careful because the depth of the fishpond were beyond our heights. It looks shallow though but that was truly deep.

After a day, I washed my clothes and hung them on the clothesline. I helped in washing the dishes while my parents are doing another household chores and tasks. After two days, when it's already Thursday we packed our things because we are going home already.

Before going home, I took mom a picture at the hut.

So that was what we did there!
