DIARY GAME SEASON 3 || (November 27, 2021) ||#club5050 |Clinic visit for CBC laboratory of my brother

Greetings to everyone.. I hope that all are doing fine. Despite of every situations we've encountered in our daily lives. I believe that every thing happens for a reason and that in every trials there is joy ahead.

Today, I wanna share with you about our clinic visit for CBC laboratory of my brother.

The clinic was just a walking distance from our house. So we decided to just walk on going there.
Upon arriving, we then approach the secretary for recording and schedule.

I saw many patients inside waiting for thier turns to be checked up. There are children, young and old with different cases and sickness.

In our case, for further information of my brothers ailment, actually my brother was confined in the hospital last month due to his low hemoglobin, but was discharged because we couldn't find another blood for blood transfusion. The doctor told us to buy 2 bags of blood but we only found one bag because there are no more stock available in blood banks with type B+, everyday we are looking for B+ blood type, calling the blood banks and asking friends for donors but found nothing. That is why we decided to discharge him from the hospital because our hospital bill is getting higher everyday for room rates and other laboratories. The doctor did let us sign a waiver for discharge. We can do no more but to sign it because we don't have enough money anymore, for how many days confinement we spend a lot of money.

By the way to know more about my brother, he has a mental disability, his learning development was slow or not normal he didn't even able to finish his study because he is ashamed and was bullied.

So now, going back to why we are here in the clinic for CBC laboratory. We are here because we wanted to know the condition of his hemoglobin and try to think of something what we could do.

We waited for an hours for the result and the doctor's finding.

And this is the copy of his result. His hemoglobin is still very low. In a normal 11.5-16.5 hemoglobin he only had 6.9..
While waiting for our turn to go inside the doctor's room. I was worried about his condition but then I realized prayer is the best I can do for now.

The secretary called his name to go inside..upon entering the room the doctor then ask him how he feels since his hemoglobin was very low, if he feel dizziness or difficult in breathing. My brother then answered no. He feels none of those symptoms, but the doctor still advice him for blood transfusion. Severe anemia is what the doctor's finding.
I actually agree that he really needs the blood transfusion immediately but while still looking for blood donors, he is advice to rest and eat foods rich in iron.

So, after the check up I paid the consultation fee then we go home.

Worried, but still thankful coz I know God is working.
