This time I will share with all of you my daily routine in this private sector as an employee. I'm a production worker and have been appointed as a thread in charge, and. for me this is not easy. it's a big risk to handle. I'd been in this position for 13 years until the present. For a thread in charge, it is my responsibility to supply the thread for production. I have so many guidelines to follow in supplying the thread for production. This position needs more on memorization and more on taking notes.
I have here the notebooks that I'm going to use for the sampling process each brand has brand tags to make it easier to locate when somebody asks me related to my work.

Recorded in this file includes the kind of materials, the specification of thread, and its uses during sampling.This is how I did for sampling ,first is to match the thread into the specific material for samples.

How to order thread //

The first step is to have a production schedule provided by the owner for us to follow it contains 2 weeks ordered quantity with different brands and styles. Through this schedule, I can make my thread order in advance. That portion I highlighted its already ordered.

Upon ordering the thread I have so many guidelines to follow. This thread guide book contains the different kinds of thread and different colors and its specification and uses.

For example, this thread guide book is used for stretch material cloth for sewing it provides well-balanced flexibility .elasticity as well as transparency and can be widely adopted to stretch material. Upon ordering the thread it depends on the material of the buyer on what kind of thread they want to use for their order.

The arrival of my thread order //

I will check all the quantity of thread I ordered because sometimes the arrival is lacking and I can make a report.

The importance of production schedule//

The production schedule is very important to me because this is how I can prepare the thread in advance and the production schedule gives me an idea of when to. prepare the thread. I will show to you our production. schedule that indicates the number of lines and the number of days when to start and finish sewing.

Preparing the thread guide//

For example line no.5 style no.OP-TO-IZ-0772 this is how I make a thread guide with the corresponding fabric color and thread color for them to follow in sewing to make the operator easy.

Preparing the thread//

This is a thread rewinding machine with a timer for how many meters to transfer thread from another cone.

This 1 cone thread with 3000 meters string I will divide this into 5 cones when each cone contains 600 meters and it will take 5 minutes to rewind.

After rewinding the thread needed I will place all the thread in one plastic and ready for production pick up

Shipping schedule//

During shipment, I also send a thread and thread guide for them to use whenever there is a repair because they will make a double check of the product before sending it to the buyers.After shipment I will pick up all the remining thread in the production and put it back to the corresponding box including the empty cone.

At the end of the month of every month, there is a thread inventory as per request from our head.

This is my journey every day and I admit I felt difficulties in my job but I learned a lot.
