Steemit Philippines Luzon Bi-Monthly Townhall 01 12Sept21: ATTENTION - Let's Join The Video Promotion Contest
Mabuhay Mga Kapwa Pilipino!
Greetings to my fellowmen here in Luzon. There is now an announcement by the Community Curation Account @steemitphcurator where we should submit our videos to promote Steemit to our friends and family.
Check it here: Steemit Philippines “Video Contest” Promotion Campaign
In my case that it would overlap my ongoing Onboarding contest that was just recently started, it would still be that same concept of inviting friends here in our beloved platform. Thus, this will be the best chance to just share our video entries to the ones we are going to invite later on. So the two contests are just reciprocating each other reaching a common goal.
I will just give suggestions on how we should do it to come up with great results and enhance our creativity based on this activity we're doing now.
Suggestions:
The videos submitted should be more than 3 minutes. So I would have to suggest that we can create TikTok videos (with the correct tags of steemit, steem, crypto, cryptoblogs etc) tackling EACH requirement such as...
These are the most easy steps that you can share via TikTok in installments:
How will you introduce Steemit, your experience, income, how easy it is to use steemit and become a steemian, and a short discussion how long you have been on steemit.
If we say installments, you can share each of those topics in different tiktok videos. Then share each one of them to a GC or your social media. Record a photo of its screenshot because you are going to use all of those photos to item no. 9: Introduce Steemit Philippines to your audience.
I have separated Items no. 2, 3, 7 and 9 because this will require you to use a desktop recording or a mobile phone recording in the process.
You may use this instruction on this blog that I have created to invite. I have created this blog to invite my fellow call center agents or people from the BPO-Industry.
Inviting My Real Friends On Steemit & The Steemit Philippines Community
Scroll down to the mid part and you will be able to see this.
Make sure to create your own phrases with the instructions.
One you have created your own posts, you can include in your video and say "visit the link below for the detailed instruction".
In creating a detailed walkthrough using your Personal Computer, you may check this application to do a video screen recording to include in your final video.
Source is on the web address or you may simply click this one: https://obsproject.com/
Using this is optional or you may DYOR and if you have a better app, you may suggest this one as well.
Then once you have all those videos set up, it's time for you to gather them all to make your final video entry to submit in youtube or DTube.
Let's check and make sure to follow the set rules.
Set 10% of your payout to @steemphcurator
After we click the Advanced settings, this will appear:
Click add account, Set 10% to steemitphcurator then click "Save".
In the introduction of your video, you must state your steemit name and your place of origin(Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao)
We can say: "Hello everyone, this is Aaron also know as Fycee from Luzon. Exactly located here in Laguna, and I am here to share Steemit to my friends, family members and everyone who will be able to watch this video."
Since we are here in Luzon, we can freely use the TagLish language. We need to be cautious in our Title and follow the format for simplicity purposes too. Having a very long title makes it too boring to actually read the whole content.
This video contest is intended to invite more Steemians
We should always think of our aim why we are creating this video.
Let's discuss each criteria that would sum up the 100%
Originality:
First come first serve. So whoever should be the first one to submit their entries with the TiktTok video compilation would get the highest score for originality. That has been the rule. If ever you do have any other ways on how you did it and you were the FIRST one to share, then you get the 100% rating which is a perfect 30%. This will be my basis as a judge for this contest for this criteria alone.
Relevance to the theme:
Simple. Stick to the goal - The 5th rule. Invite more steemians. And do our best since this will be shared to the whole world as our application for the next Booming Support.
Overall Quality:
Make your video cover stand out to gain more clicks. So in a short span of time, I will still be checking the number of views your video has been clicked if it was shared on youtube. Should be 1080p resolution and there should be no blurred texts. Clear voice-over and understandable even if you used your own language.
Following the Rules:
Should be a given factor that all of us already followed all the rules set. Hindi na dapat question sa atin yan.
Contest starts - September 12-2021 which is TODAY, contest will run until Sept 24 but please submit your entries early. 2-weeks is already such a long time to prepare.
Let's get it on!
Updates with our onboarding contest.
I am glad to finally share that there is one Steemian from Luzon who were able to invite 2 members already who also completed the verification form. Kudos to @jewel89.
She was able to invite @aideleijoi and @chy07
Since she was able to do this, and be the first one to do the onboarding, I have given her a reward for being prompt. I sent her 500 pesos worth of liquid Steem at that moment she was able to make Chy07 got verified.

Looking forward in increasing our numbers the next time and the next contests. I am not putting pressure to anyone but just stating the facts on how active Luzon is. This will gauge me on how our sub-community to become more active and NOT COMPARE to the Visayas and Mindanao Region.
At the end of the month, I will be showing the data I have collected from the previous month and show the progress we have made this September.
