In my opinion, being born guarantees us that at some point in our lives we must be prepared to face some fear or in this case, new experiences. Hence the famous phrase: for everything there is a first time. And isn't that true? Perhaps many remember with great affection that first time they uploaded content to Steemit and in this case I remember with emotion that special day where I faced and overcame stage fright, also getting on stage for the first time and presenting myself to a very diverse audience.
It was the debut performance of the Academy of Arts to which I belong, so I was very nervous early on. The guideline was at four in the afternoon, so my teacher and my classmates agreed to arrive early to meet and organize behind the scenes. We would not be the only ones to introduce ourselves, and my nerves increased when I saw more and more people arrive because even though the event was for Children's Day (which here in Venezuela is celebrated every July 17) the place was full of people of all ages.
I remember that when we got on stage, almost ready to go out to perform, I got quite dizzy and I felt my heart race and I began to sweat due to nerves, I was aware that it was the first time I would do something in front of so many people, the truth I have always been a very shy girl and that meant a challenge for me, but I was aware that I could not take a step back and that I had to be brave and face my shyness and my stage fright once and for all.
thank you everything went very well. After taking a deep breath, going on stage and doing what was rehearsed for my role, my nerves went down and I was able to function better. It felt good to connect in some way or another with the audience and discover that I could handle that and much more and that I wasn't going to be stuck in the middle doing nothing for so long.
I think that this has been the most unique and special moment that I have experienced this 2022, for having faced that fear, having shown a little of my talent and stepping on stage for the first time. It was a first experience that I will never forget and will carry in my heart forever.

Hi @elaigeer1, Your experience was similar to mine but in different fields. In my case my legs were shaking, my mind was eccentric at that time, but the end result was wonderful. You're pretty and did well with this one.

There often would be a first start and time . Such date mark your first start on stage , base on such which you get onto . So shall it get continuing with no sudden ending soon. Truth remain you did faced it out , nerves faded and now memory.
