Leadership is unlocking peoples potential to become better.

Today was a day of new learnings and discovery. Having a new leader in our school is something I look forward to. New principal means new things to adjust. New superior would not only mean that there will be a lot of changes in our school but also of how to deal with new management.

We just had our Kumustahan which means meet and greet with the new principal. We were actually scheduled by department. English teachers gathered and anticipate of what the new administration will bring to our school.

As I look at our new principal I was amazed by how much she has achieved even how young she looks. Honestly I wish to be a leader someday. But I guess I am not that sure if I still want the same thing. Well new year makes me think of what is really important for me, my family and career.

Before we finished we had a small celebration because of my co teachers birthday, we had burger and water for snacks. We also get to listen by how our principal is a religious and she is very dedicated Christian. I felt a bit awkward coz to be honest I am a Catholic but not a dedicated one.

Upon my way home my kids waited for me in the main gate of the subdivision. They were craving for some refreshments and didn't have the money to buy some. So we went to a nearby and bought one of each of us.

I chose chocolate hazelnut same as my daughter, my son chose strawberry. They sell each frappe for 85 pesos, almost $2. The frappe actually taste really good, its affordable and big. My Kids were so happy even with the simple gesture I did. I was also happy to see them wait for me and greeted me as I arrive from work.

We went home and got ready for dinner. Definitely today was a day of learning. I realized how religion and dedication can change someones perception and way of living. I realized that reading the Bible can mean something more than what I know. Maybe by spending more time with our new principal and be able to participate in one of her bible studies will change a bit of my perception of life and how I live it. And how a sweet treat can make your day a better one.
