The Diary Game Season 3 (10-13-2021) "Setting-up the Venue for My Cousin's Wedding"

I would like to give special thanks to all contest organizers and curators for a never ending support to us steemians that we feel always motivated to write and share good insights in life.

Sharing you today how we did a simple preparation for my cousin's wedding last week. He is the youngest child in their family, however his mother died when he was 3 years old and two siblings got married. From then our family helped him in his schooling, he even stayed with us until he graduated elementary and high school. When he reached college, he decided to stay with his eldest sister since their house is near to the school. He just arrived from Japan last year and just this month decided to get married.

The planning for our preparation of the venue was headed by aunt since his old father was sickly. It was also my other aunt who offered their place, actually just outside their house, to be used as the venue. Some of my cousins brought cloth and did the skirting of the table, they also bought balloons, while I bought flowers and baskets to decorate the venue to make more attractive.

Since their wedding was held at 4:00 in the afternoon last week of Saturday, we already bought the needed materials for decoration ahead of time and did all the decoration at 8:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon. We finished it early since many of us volunteered for this special event. It is indeed true that family willingly sticks and stays for each other in most needy times.
We Filipinos are very known to that close family ties. We feel glad every time we do something extraordinary for our families.

So that's how my story ended!
