The diaryagme : 01/10/22 : Marriage shopping and preparation at peak.

A soothing beginning of the day by prayers and recitation of the holy Quran has a positive impact on the day. After getting up at 6! 6:15 am, I had morning tea with family and then my siblings swept the floor and mopped windows and cleaned washrooms. They didn't let me do anything. I was just watching them and guiding them about dos and don'ts. After completion of the sweeping exercise, the time by my watch was 10:00 am. We then had sweet tea

Purchased today

My maternal siblings then called me and informed me that they were visiting our home today. My younger sister called her neighbouring friends and told them to visit our home after lunch. I did setting of my clothes into my luggage. By then my mom called us for lunch. After lunch, my siblings cleaned utensils and then my cousins and neighbours arrived and then start singing as my marriage ceremony is scheduled for this week.

Get together

Later we served them fruit juice and snacks. It was purely a fun. Then we sat together and had a lot of fun. Cousins planned to stay here in our room for the night whereas neighbouring friends left by 5;00 pm. Then my brother and I looked for a shawl at the market. We visited many shops and we couldn't make up our minds about nine pieces. Finally, we got a few of them. Later we showed them to our family and all liked the stuff.

Then we talked to our cook and asked him to send the final list of spices to be used in the marriage ceremony. He then sent us a long list and then my father talked to some known spice sellers and sent him the list and told him to arrange the required things. We will be collecting them yesterday.

Union Home minister has to visit our state on 04 th Oct and therefore security arrangments are tight these days. Tuesday and Wednesday will be restricted movements on roads. So we have to finalise things in advance. Later we had dinner and then we got busy with some preparation. That is all from the day.
