People put up flags, etc., decorate the houses according to their respective sects at each house. Wearing clothes, jewelery etc. is celebrated as a festival. At the time of worship, after Ghatasthapana, the king, minister, army chief, Dhanesh, Dhanyadi, Meghesh, Samvatsara residence etc. of the year are calculated from the new calendar.
