Mishra ji ka Pokhra ( Pond of Mishra ji)

Today I will share about a beautiful place which is located in my village. Villages has many attractive places where you can get fresh air and can enjoy the pleasant environment there. We often visit these places but we notice their beauty rarely. But who live in cities, miss these places. Let us know and visit virtually that place.
So the name of this place is Mishra ka Pokhra. It means pond of Mishra ji. It has bounty of plantation around it. There are small temples of Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman and so on. It is just beside the main road running alongside our village. There is a bridge also near this location. There is a Maa Kaali temple but it isolated from this location.
Stairs to enter the pond
When you will go there, you can see Peepal tree first and then mangi trees ahead. Later there is a well also but it is not in use. And then you will reach to the main place where you can see temples, Banyan tree and stairs upto water.
Temples near the pond
The temples constructed here are of small sizes having only one small room each. Hanuman, Ganesha and some goddesses are there. It feels amazing spending your leisure time here.
Click from a distance
When people pass way from the road, they notice the beauty of this place. Most of them stop their vehicles and come to sit for sometime there. It is a natural beauty.
The bank of the pond is elevated high. You can make a round stepping on it. It also covered with various trees.
Banyan tree shoots hanging on the stairs
The Banyan tree is very old and it has anumber of shoots hanging in the air. You can swing on them and they won't break. They are so strong. Boys jump in the pond using these shoots.
In brief it is my favourite place located in my own village.
