What are Mind Maps?

Mind Maps are nothing but a graphical representation of your ideas, concepts, or your initials. These mindmaps help to create good content and are widely used among Content Creators. You can create a piece of Content effectively and efficiently with the help of these mind maps.

Suppose, you have to create a Tutorial Lesson for your Steemit Blog. Obviously, your first step should be to write the Introduction and then the Topic and then add the conclusion. A mindmap can help you to write a better post.

How to create a good post with a mind map & Benefits

1. You can Brainstorm your Ideas and Content well.
2. You can Outline all the Headers in Advance.
3. Having your Heading ready will give you a quick start to finish your post in no time.
4. You can use the same Framework for another post as well.
5. It is difficult to write and think at the same time.
6. Using Mind Map is like Fill in the Blanks.

Example:-
I just get another example, Remember when we were in preschool and our teacher used to make Dots on our notebooks so that we can write the numbers ( Teacher makes dots like this: and we draw a line and make it 1). Now, think of these dots, and treat them as a mindmap. With these dots(mindmap), You can write the number 1 (Content). I hope you get my point here.

How to Create? and Where to Go?

Creation:- Creating a mindmap is very easy. You only have to type your idea and press Enter. When you press Enter, the mindmap will show you + button. You can add several points and alter them as much as you want. You can have a look at the mindmap below. I created this mindmap so that I can make a Promotional Video for Steemit. You can see there are circle joints that join points with each other.

Website:- There is plenty of websites where you can create these mindmaps. The one I use is mindmeister.com and the other one you can use is Canva. But with canva the mindmap creation would be more tricky and with MindMeister, you are only limited to creating 3 mindmaps for free every month. If you want premium services then there are tools like simplemind, coggle, mind, etc. on the Internet.

Conclusion

A mindmap is a productivity tool and it can be used as such. It is not limited to content creators only but you can use it as a Monthly study roadmap tool. I use to plan my month with this. It is best to use for long assignments and Book writing. All in all, this is the best tool which I found very useful in terms of increasing my Productivity.
