Steemit Engagement Challenge S3:W3 - What different animals can teach humans by @drqamu.
Hello fellow steemians around the globe, hope you are all fine and enjoying this season. Today I am going to write homework by steem India community which is about lessons learned from animals. Let's go.
I belong to a family with agricultural background although now I am busy with my profession so I am not directly linked to any agricultural activity. During my childhood, I was involved in activities related to pets and they have taught me many lessons. My grandfather left his job during his early thirties and got busy with his agricultural activities and had a variety of pet animals and birds. We had every variety of locally known pets at home during my childhood. Not only pets but also birds. We used to have every fruit tree in orchids, So I have been learning lessons from pets since my childhood. Let me specifically mention a few of them.
Unity and Divison of Labour
Source
Our uncle has honey bee culture at his home. We do get honey from them and you all know the sweetness and health benefits of honey. Honey bees live in hives and work together to suck the nectar of flowers to make honey. Honey bees travel miles to gather the nectar of flowers so they have to work very hard. An individual Honey bee can't work alone to make honey. Honey bees work together in unity and follow the principle of division of labour and we see that the end result is very sweet and we call that honey. So there is a lesson for us to learn from honey bees. If we have unity and we work together, we will end up getting very fruitful results.
Dog is a symbol of loyalty
source
We used to have a dog by the name of Raamu. We used to feed him milk, meat, fish and other healthy diets. We used to take his care just like humans. I remember whenever any of our family members used to visit fields or gardens, Raamu always used to be there walking behind us. Ramu used to bark loudly on seeing any foreigner entering our lawn. So Ramu was very loyal to us. He ultimately died for some unknown reason. No one can deny the fact that dog is a symbol of loyally.
Be gentle and get loved

I recently got a Persian cat. I have discussed persian cat last week. Having mentioned that my cat is docile and gentle enough and never creates any fuss for food. Being gentle, everyone in our family loves the cat. So the point is that, if we are gentle we are likely to get loved.
Be productive to survive
Goats and sheep are used for milk in some societies and are brought up with great care as long as they keep on giving milk. It is a common practice that as these animals grow old, they are sold to butchers who kill these animals and sell their meat. So the lesson is that, to survive one has to be productive. We can apply this principle in our jobs too. We must be productive enough to remain in the profession.
Do not flow with the flow
I have monitored the behaviour of two animals closely in my locality, one is a horse and other is sheep. Horses are usually seen alone moving and feeding anywhere they want. They are least bothered about others. On the other hand, sheep are seen moving in groups. I have seen that whenever one sheep moves or runs in some direction, others in the group follow that sheep without looking for the reason behind. So the lesson to learn here is that, we must not flow with the flow but we should have potential to create a path for ourselves and follow that path with determination without bothering about others.
Conclusion
Everyone has something to tell and everything has something to teach us. We must have the potential to analyse and infer things and apply the lessons learnt in our lives to succeed. Animals are seemingly separate species that have their world. Since the universe as a whole is a single system, so we as part of this system must try to learn some lessons from animals as well. It is not only about the animals but other biotic and abiotic components of our surroundings as well.
Although i occasionally remain online but whenever i come i check your blog and it is always intersting to explore .

You seem to be a new user as per your repo i would like to tell you that , instead of dropping links , it is better to make quality comments . Those who make quality comments need not invite anyone to their blog but people visit by themselves. Hope it is beneficial for you .
Good luck
Ants and honey bees are probably the best examples to show unity and team work. Honey bees do this so well by traveling together and working together to make honey for themselves.
They teach us that working together as a team yield better results. They also teach us that we should follow our leaders by doing all they can to protect their queen bee.
Thanks for sharing sir.
You are right .
Thanks .
