I hope you are all well and good.Today I see this post in this community and I like it because nowadays the ratio of diseases increases day by day and does not cure easily by medicines.And the second main thing is every medicine has side effects so if it cures one diseases at a time it also harmful and create other diseases in body at the same time.But if we take right food with correct quantity and use then we cure easily with 0 side effect.

Do you believe that the foods we eat have medicinal value?

Yes, I believe that healthy food is better than medicines.Because of patients use specific medicine for a long period of time then after sometime it cannot affect the body and needs to change medicines that are very harmful to our health.

Medicines cause an increase in inflammation in the body.That creates disease like heart related , diabetics and arthritis.But used anti-inflammatory food that reduces the inflammation and reduces the cause of other diseases.That's why I think food is better than medicines.

Let's share my experience about food or medicine.Somedays ago I got the flu and this freeze in my nose,chicks and mind.I feel severe head pain but I don't understand the reason.I went to the doctor and he gave me medicines.I took this but my head pain was the same then I took x-rays in which show the flu was reason and those medicines who I take this has so many side effects like fatigue,nausea, sleeplessness etc.

After that my mother gave me hot tea in which garlic,ginger,mint cooked in water and stained this water and gave it to me.I drank it and felt relaxed.Within one week my headache was fine and I feel healthy.

I don't say that we don't need medicines in our lives.I only say that if foods cure diseases then it's the best option but if diseases are critical like cancer and hepatitis then medicines with food both are needed.

5 Examples of foods that are powerful" medicines for the body"

Medicine is a drug that should be avoided in daily routine so if someone feels lazy or especially in the flu stage,fatigue, nausea and sleepiness problems take healthy and correct food to cure these problems.

1- Mint:

I like this personally because it is very beneficial for me.I am allergic patient so I get the flu mostly but when I drink mint I feel easy and relaxed.I used mint as drink or in yogurt both cases it's taste is also very yummy.
It is also good for stomach and weight loss.

02.Ginger:

This acts as a pain killer in the body.When I feel fatigue and pain in my body I add ginger in my hot drink that makes me relief from pain and it has also very other benefits.

03.Tumeric:

It contains curcuma that has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects if it adds in hot milk and drinks it so it gives good sleep and relief from pain.Its also very healthy for health.

04.Nuts and seeds:

It provides fats,fibers and various vitamins and minerals.I eat cereal of oats,corn flakes cooked in milk in my breakfast that's very yummy and if I need sugar so I add honey or some nuts.Its so healthy and every age group uses this.Its provide extreme level of energy and healthy breakfast especially for children and old age people.

05.Oily fish :

Salmon is especially rich in omega-3 fatty acids,which are very beneficial for the heart health and brain function.

How can we use food in our daily lives to keep healthy?

These foods are used to cure some diseases but these are also useful to prevent diseases before they come.

For example:

1- the use of nuts and seeds in daily life is possible.
Every morning to eat cereal of oats,corn flakes and nuts in milk is very beneficial for health and it provides energy for all the day and the taste is also very yummy.We use other foods or honey in this for cereal and this uses every person child to old.

2-Mint drink is very easy to make and add ginger in it.This gives a cool effect and prevents from flu.It also benefits for stomach.

Do u think it's important for schools to teach about how food can be like medicine for our bodies?

It is very important for children to know the benefits of foods that they use in daily life and cure little diseases and prevent critical diseases.The nutrition subject should be compulsory with other academic books.And one nutrition that guides them proper benefits of food according to their health.

Nowadays children even adults also prefer to eat junk foods that are harmful to health and children avoid Desi food or especially fruits.Morning to evening they eat only artificial make food like junk food that is totally unhealthy and chemical involved and cause so many diseases.After that they used medicines that is synthetically chemical based drugs and addict this.So if they know about foods benefits so the ratio of diseases decrease day by day.I think this is very important step to involve food study in school levels.
