I've never heard of heat stroke before.
When I first read the topic, I thought you spelt heart wrongly 🤦😂
I thought it's a normal break down called fainting
It is indeed true that when the body can no longer regulate heat in the body, it results to heat stroke.
There're many ways it can be prevented, as you've mentioned. Drinking enough water, infact lots of water.
Wearing safety equipments when working under intensive sunlight..etc.
