What is Malaria? |
---|
Malaria is a deadly infectious disease. It is transmitted to humans through the bite of female Anopheles mosquitoes. Since they do not require blood to produce eggs, they can easily infect humans.
It is usually more common in tropical and subtropical regions. This is because there is a lot of rain and most malaria is caused by stagnant rainwater. Every year, more than 600,000 people die from this disease.
What are the three symptoms of malaria explain it. |
---|
The 3 symptoms of malaria are given below.
Fever
Headache
Vomiting
- It is more common in hilly areas. Its main symptom is fever. However, this fever goes away for some time and it comes back after some time. It happens at night, but this fever is usually accompanied by shaking. Such fever lasts for about 10-12 days.
Severe headache with fever. Due to headaches, it becomes impossible to stand up. Which has to be spent in a lot of trouble. Due to fever and headache, jaundice often occurs.
Vomiting This is another symptom. After contracting malaria, the parasite destroys our digestive system after entering our intestines, so we vomit because our food is not digested. However, if the condition is very bad, convulsions may occur.
How does malaria affect our lives? |
---|
Malaria can affect our lives in many ways.
As it is more common in hilly areas, population transmission is more common in hilly areas and people from other districts are more likely to be infected there when they visit for tourism.
Personally, this disease can ruin our lives. Because if the disease is severe, it can lead to death.
It can affect women, children and the elderly more during pregnancy because they have low immunity.
If you are sick, everything from housework to earning money becomes difficult.
It has a bad effect not only on yourself but also on everyone in the area, which later destroys the entire society.
How to prevent malaria? |
---|
We can prevent malaria in 2 ways.
- Personally
- environment
🟦 Personal
Since it is very hot in summer, we do not have many clothes on us.
We must sleep with a mosquito net while sleeping.
- We must apply mosquito repellent on our bodies so that mosquitoes do not bite.
🟥 Environment
Water should not be allowed to accumulate around us. Because mosquitoes are born from water.
Houses and courtyards should be cleaned. If there are trees, they should be kept clean.
All types of mosquito repellents or sprays should be used.
I would like to invite my friends @marito74 @rony-hafiz and @saniya9 to take part in the contest.
