It is our sole responsibility and duty to take care of any sick patient. With adequate care, we can quickly cure the physical and mental illness of a sick patient. Honorable moderator @ helengutier2 has given special importance to that issue through this contest and asked for our opinion. Before starting the discussion, I would like to thank her once again and offer my opinion.
🤯 Estas preparado para el cuido de un familiar con enfermedad terminal?
Yes, I am completely ready to take care of anyone in my family if they are sick. Especially if that illness is a chronic disease like cancer. However, Alhamdulillah, no one in my family has been affected by cancer. However, my mother had a mild stroke many years ago. My family members and I quickly admitted her to the hospital. We were in the hospital with my mother for twenty-one days. We did our best to serve her and make her recover.
I do not want a complex disease like cancer to happen in my family. Even then, if such a situation arises, I am completely ready to serve her/him.
🤯 Que tanto afecta la salud del cuidado?
I think 90% of a patient's recovery depends on care. I'm not saying that medicine doesn't work. Medicine works. But mental development and morale can only be improved by providing care, love, and gentle treatment.
I got the proof of this during my mother's illness. When she was sick, we used to stay with her 24 hours a day in rotation to keep her mentally healthy. We didn't let her know that she was sick. We always kept her happy. As a result, my mother recovered very quickly.
So, if a sick patient is given adequate care, his mental development happens very quickly. His desire to recover increases. His morale increases. And he recovers quickly.
🤯 Sabes que no solo es el cuido físico sino el mental, como debe sobrellevarse?
We must serve chronic patients (patients with cancer) for a long time. However, we have to keep in mind that this service cannot be done only physically. We have to serve for the mental development of the patient. For example:-
- Keeping someone close to the patient at all times, so that the patient does not feel lonely.
- Keeping him/her happy by telling funny stories with the patient.
- Talking about topics that the patient likes.
- Arranging entertainment according to the patient's preference.
By doing all these, we can cure the mental illness of a patient.
🤯 El grupo de apoyo como debería trabajar para que se pueda sobrellevar la carga.
No matter how much we want to serve the patient, it is not possible to serve for a long time. Because the person who will serve also needs rest. If we do not take rest, the patient himself/herself will also get sick. On the other hand, the patient who has been affected for a long time also needs care all the time. In such a situation, if we serve the patient in a group, then the patient will not get the care as well and the person who will serve will not suffer.
During my mother's illness, my siblings and I divided into a group to serve her. As a result, my mother always received care and none of us suffered.
