Why do you think it is important to use radiological examinations?

Our body experiences various diseases at different times, which are often not visible from the outside. In such situations, radiology tests are needed. Through radiology tests, we can learn about the diseases that arise inside the body and get them treated properly. Therefore, radiology tests play an important role in diagnosing diseases. Here are some reasons for doing radiology tests: -

• There is no alternative to radiology tests for accurate diagnosis. For example, X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds make it possible for doctors to treat internal diseases properly.
• Through radiology tests, many complex diseases, such as cancer and tumors, can be detected at an early stage. If this is possible, they are also easier to treat.
• Through radiology treatment, an overall idea of the progress of the disease can be obtained.
• Through radiology tests, it is convenient to make a decision regarding which course of treatment to follow.

Tell me about your experience with radiographic examinations.

A few days ago, I had a heart problem. Then my doctor gave me a liver test along with various tests. I went to our famous hospital which name is Ibne Sina Hospital. There I also got tested. My test was done in the presence of the hospital radiologist and her two assistants. All three of them were women. They asked me to take off my shirt and lower my pants a lot. I started feeling uncomfortable. Then the doctor ma’am made me feel comfortable. With her sweet demeanor, I overcame my inertia. And the test was completed.
I see that they are very professional, and they are good at making everyone feel comfortable. Overall, my aptitude for radiology tests is very good.

When are these types of support examinations necessary?

Different types of radiology tests are required for different diseases. For example: -

• If there is a crack in the body, an X-ray is done.
• A CT scan is done to understand the situation of internal bleeding.
• Again, if there is a stroke syndrome, a CT scan is done.
• MRI is done to understand soft tissue injuries.
• Ultrasound is done to understand the situation of appendicitis pain, or gallstones.
• A mammogram is done to test for breast cancer
• An echocardiogram is done to check heart function.
• An angiogram is done to understand the situation of blood vessel blockage.
• In addition, various radiology tests are done for various other diseases.

What are the advantages of these studies?

Radiology tests have many advantages. For example: -

• Through this test, we can know about the original condition of the body and can treat it accordingly.
• Through this test, we can know about the progress of the disease.
• Through radiology tests, it is possible to know whether the treatment is progressing in the right direction.
• In this way, radiology helps us in many other ways in the diagnosis of diseases.
