What is Malaria?
Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite, which is transmitted through the bite of an infected Anopheles mosquito. If the parasite can bite the body in any way, it attacks the liver and multiplies before infecting the blood cells.
Malaria is a terrible disease. Malaria caused by the bite of the Anopheles mosquito can last for 15-20 days. During this time, various problems arise such as:-
- Headache
- Fever and chills
- Muscle pain in the body
- Feeling tiredness in the body
- Nausea
- Anemia and other problems in the body are faced.

What are the three symptoms of malaria explain it.
Malaria is a complex disease. If this disease is not treated on time, it can even lead to death. I have presented three common symptoms of malaria below.
Fever and chills: -
The most common disease that we see in malaria is fever and chills. When this disease occurs, high fever is observed repeatedly with a break. The effect of extreme cold can be observed in the body. Fever causes many types of convulsions or chills. The reason for this is that the Plasmodium parasite cyclically breaks red blood cells and releases toxic substances into the bloodstream.
The cycles create spikes in the body.
Fatigue and weakness: -
When infected with malaria, the parasite destroys the red blood cells of the body. Due to this anemia is created in the body and the body reaches the point of fatigue. Due to fatigue, the body does not get the strength to perform its normal activities.
Nausea: -
Malaria affects the digestive system by attacking red blood cells. Due to this, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes diarrhea are seen.
How does malaria affect our lives?
Malaria has a lot of impact on our personal life, family life, and social life. For example: -
- It can cause serious illness and organ damage.
- Even if this disease is cured, there is a possibility of getting infected with this disease in the future.
- Inability to work due to being infected for a long time
- Medical expenses are also high due to being sick for a long time. Many people cannot afford this expense.
How to prevent malaria?
We should take several steps to prevent malaria. I have mentioned some steps below.
- We should take all kinds of steps so that mosquitoes cannot bite us.
- We should take measures so that mosquito breeding does not increase.
- Anti-malaria medicine should be taken.
- RTS S vaccine should be taken on time.
- Awareness should be increased among everyone.
