Waste can be said to be useless by-product which can come from companies, homes etc. Waste are meant to be disposed so that they don't harm the ecosystem but people have grown more careless about these things and have seem to forget it effects.
So today I will discuss with you a few effects of improper waste disposal in the environment.

Land Pollution
Land pollution happens whenever waste ends up on soil or other land that people should process instead. And these happens when individuals refuse to dispose dirt or garbage the right way therefore polluting the land or the environment and these can come in different ways such as oil spillage from companies, improper disposal of harmful chemicals, dumping of refuse on land without proper burning etc.
This garbage doesn’t just sit there; the contents break down, whether by rotting or time and seep into the area around it. This means the dirt and all surrounding areas absorb the pollution and become dangerous for people and animals.

Water Pollution
Whatever waste doesn’t go into landfills or other disposal areas usually finds its way into the ocean or other bodies of water. It then breaks down into the ocean, slowly contaminating the water and choking out the life that water hosts. And this process can happen when waste is been dumped into gutters which will eventually flow into bigger water bodies such as rivers, lakes etc
This process raises the toxicity of the water, making freshwater unsafe for human consumption and any body of water toxic for those swimming in the water.

Air Pollution
Air pollution is a major issue worldwide, improper waste disposal affects the environment through air pollution. Improper waste disposal is a contributor to excess gases entering the atmosphere and causing problems like climate change, extreme weather, diseases etc and these can happen when toxic waste which can be disposed harmlessly are released into the atmosphere.

Disease
Unprocessed waste is a huge breeding ground for major diseases. All kinds of diseases can use places like landfills; even contaminated waters can host all manners of horrible diseases. These diseases can affect animals, plants, and people alike—improperly processed waste is horrible for the health of all living things.

Breeding site for disease causing parasites
Improper disposal of waste on land or water can create a breeding site for parasites such as mosquitoes, tse-tse fly etc when this parasites breed there, they attack humans and livestock and cause illness to the human body which can even lead to death. Infact mosquitoes have been identified as one of the major killer of man.

Now, what hurts me more is the part that you've been warned to stay clear from this act but still went on to do the same again.
