Dengue | Dengue Awareness Challenge
- What is dengue?
From my perspective, I would say that dengue is a sickness one's get from a mosquito bite. For instance if a mosquito bites someone who has dengue, it can carry the sickness and give it to another person. And this happens a lot in hot places where there are many mosquitoes and there’s no special medicine to cure it, so people just need to rest and drink water. The best way to stay safe is to stop mosquitoes from growing by keeping the surroundings clean.
2 .What are the three symptoms of dengue explain it
High Fever and this isn't just a normal fever because dengue can make one's body temperature shoot up to around 104°F (40°C). It it makes one feel extremely hot, sweaty, and weak, like your body is burning from the inside.
Severe Body Pain (Breakbone Fever) People with dengue often say it feels like their bones are breaking. It makes muscles, joints, and even your head will hurt a lot. Every little movement can feel painful, making it hard to even get out of bed.
- Red Spots on Skin (Rashes) Small red spots or rashes may appear on the skin. They can be itchy or just look like tiny red dots. This happens because dengue makes small blood vessels under the skin leak, causing these marks.

Dengue affect lives in Many ways... Example 👇

4 . How to prevent dengue
We've learnt that the best way to prevent dengue is to stop mosquitoes from biting us. Since we're away that dengue is spread by mosquitoes, we need to make sure they don’t have a place to live and grow. First, we should not let water collect in open places like buckets, tires, or flower pots because mosquitoes lay eggs in still water.

It’s also important to throw away or cover anything that holds water. Second, we should all endeavor to always use mosquito nets while sleeping and wear long clothes to cover our skin, especially in areas where there are many mosquitoes. Using mosquito sprays or coils can also help keep them away too. Lastly, keeping our surroundings clean and free of garbage helps reduce mosquitoes. If we all can follow these simple steps, we can protect ourselves and our families from dengue.
