Health they say is wealth, as they are times when we feel our health is weakened, so we begin to seek ways to improve and get healed. On one occasion or the other, we must have visited or needed medical assistance. For today's article, I will be telling you about my medical experiences.

👉My Fear Of Any Medical Instrument👈

To be sincere, even up till now I still get terrified whenever a nurse pulls out a syringe to inject me. Ever since I was a kid it has been a tug of war between me and the medical practitioners on this very issue of injection. I was always praying to remain healthy because whenever I got sick, it seems this injection was the favourite option by my doctors for my treatment.

Basically, the major reason for this fear is the pain being felt whenever the medical technician is pushing a hypodermic needle inside my body. It's usually a case of endure or cry, as it's not always very pleasant.

A few weeks ago, I went to a medical center for some sort of checkup, and they were about to extract my blood with a syringe. I quickly remember the pain of the last injection experience I had, and right there, I was seen sweating and terrified of the whole situation, lol.

       👉My Most Feared Medical Specialist👈

The medical specialists I tend to fear the most are the Laboratory Technicians, as this set of people tend to be always very serious with their injections. The duty of these people is to get and analyze blood samples required by doctors for treatment.

I have encountered them on so many occasions, as I have done many blood tests and a blood transfusion with them. At that time, I freely donated my blood to the hospital, because the specialist told me that I had so much blood, and to reduce the risk of high blood pressure in the nearest future, I was required to give out some pounds of blood. These were one of the biggest medical challenging times of my life.

👉My Painful And Unpleasant Medical Experience👈

I have had really painful and traumatizing medical challenges in my life, and it was as a result of gymnastics damage to the body. I was always going to the gym to strengthen my bones and get fit, but it turned out that at one point in my life, I started having pain in both parts of my chest.

I went to the hospital to get a chest x-ray, to determine whether I had any internal damage in my body. It was a troubling and painful experience for me, as I had many questions running through my mind at that time, including "what would be my fate if the result turns negative?" and "how could I raise money to handle the challenge?."

To God be the glory, the medical result came out and the doctors said I had just a little challenge and all major parts of my chest are okay. It was such a relief for me as I could be seen smiling home with the positive result, after being afraid for so long.

  👉My Medical Trauma During Childhood👈

As a child, I had this bad character of getting very angry at my parents anytime am being disciplined. Whenever I get angry, I would refuse to eat or drink anything🤦. I taught I was punishing them mentally, but I was punishing myself and causing so much damage to my body.

I never realized it would affect me in the future, so I continued until I started having this constant pain in my stomach and chest. It began getting even more serious with time, as I was usually feeling tired, dizzy, and lost of appetite.

I was taken to the doctor by my parents, and after several tests and observations, the doctor confirmed that I had ulcer. It broke me emotionally as I regretted my foolish actions of not usually eating out of anger and rage.

Despite many medications and treatments, I still feel the impact of the ulcer to this day. I sometimes feel pain and heartburn, as a result of this ulcer, especially on days I delay taking breakfast.

👉 My Experience On A Serious Illness And The
Lesson Learnt👈

During my childhood days, I could remember being taken to the hospital on several occasions, but for me, the most traumatizing and life-threatening challenge was a common sickness in our locality caused by mosquitoes. Its called Malaria.

I could remember having a cold and pains all over my body, especially my head. It was as if I was about to die because my body was so weak due to multiple vomiting and shivering. I even had convulsions and unconsciousness for some time. But thanks to God I became alright and healthy again.

The lesson I learned from this experience was that I shouldn't ignore the early signs of any sickness, as it usually develops into bigger problems if not attended to earlier. I could remember ignoring the first few days of constant headaches and body pain until it got to the extent where I couldn't get out of bed.

For the case of malaria, as I was later informed, the first 15 to 20 days are usually lit impactful. But after that period, it's usually a very traumatizing and life-threatening experience.

Conclusion
As I said earlier health is wealth, and we must make it our number one priority to stay healthy. Our medical experiences should serve as guidance and lessons for us to always pay attention to our body responses.
