💉Contest Alert | Malaria Awareness Challenge..
Introduction
Hi Steemian friends.
Hope everyone is doing well. All the administrators together with moderators and Steemians from this community should stay in good wellness and health. Here I take part in the "Malaria | Malaria Awareness Challenge" competition launched through an announcement from our respected leader @ahsansharif sir. So let's get started.
What is Malaria? |
---|
Plasmodium functions as the parasite responsible for creating infectious malaria disease. The human body receives the parasite through the bite of Anopheles mosquitoes with female gender. Malaria exists as a dangerous infectious condition that threatens human life. The serious illness spreads across the entire globe while affecting millions of people. A person infected with malaria diseases typically experiences high temperatures together with shivers and headaches and nausea and body discomfort. Failure to treat this disease produces serious health-threatening complications which affect both children and pregnant women primarily.
What are the three symptoms of malaria explain it. |
---|
Having high fever along with chills emerges as a primary sign of malaria infection. Blood toxins that spread through the bloodstream because of Plasmodium parasites typically lead to this medical condition. The symptoms of malaria develop between 10 to 15 days following a mosquito bite. A malaria-induced symptom can show itself anytime from 10-15 days after exposure or maybe delayed for a later timeframe.
🔹High fever and chills:Malaria produces high fever as well as chills which represent its leading symptoms. The Plasmodium parasite causes blood toxin spread known to produce this symptom. The Plasmodium parasite spreads by mosquitos to create this illness that causes extreme high temperatures along with whole-body shaking. The infectious virus spreads through bite-infected mosquitoes to cause substantial body discomfort. The condition results in dangerous bacterial spread through the bloodstream which leads to both fever and chills.
🔹Nausea and vomiting:Nausea consists of bodily actions that force the stomach to empty food or water. The malaria infection spreads through mosquito bites to produce stomach and brain irritation inside our body. High fever stands as one of the main factors that can trigger both nausea and vomiting.
The stomach receives distress from high fever because it heats our body temperature and ultimately interferes with our digestive system and stomach health. The continuous process of vomiting allows fluids and essential minerals to escape our internal systems which results in a very weak state of sickness.
🔹Difficulty breathing:The critical condition of malaria infection produces breathing difficulties which are considered a hazardous symptom of this disease. The primary indications of malaria appear as two fundamental symptoms. When malaria produces symptoms that combine with signs of difficult breathing patients must immediately contact medical services. The disease presents a fatal threat to patients when Plasmodium falciparum infects the body.
How does malaria affect our lives? |
---|
Malaria functions as a deadly and infectious disease that creates significant life disruptions for physical well-being and mental stability and financial resources of affected populations. This condition hampers the total development process for the individual as well as the nation and society as a whole. The body stays exhausted as well as weak for prolonged periods after malaria infection while this weakness negatively impacts one's daily work abilities. Without proper prompt treatment malaria can lead to fatal consequences involving renal failure along with respiratory failure and brain damage as cerebral malaria and severe anemia. Family members experience heightened mental anxiety because of their fear regarding persistent sickness and death. The performance of students and workers declines due to malaria leading to detrimental personal and social effects. When a family member contracts an infection the relatives must bear all medical costs together with treatment-related services. The sickness of active employees creates economic harm because it weakens the available workforce. Various additional issues get impacted by these circumstances.
How to prevent malaria? |
---|
All residents need to adopt individual measures along with social measures and environmental measures to stop the spread of malaria. Mosquito control stands as the primary defense mechanism against this disease because malaria exists primarily through mosquito transmission. Preventative measures against malaria function as an essential factor in light of reducing its worldwide impact. ITNs treated with insecticides prove highly effective for malaria prevention especially within endemic areas. The physical and chemical attributes of these nets protect people from mosquito bites thus reducing both death from malaria along with the malaria disease itself.Malaria case numbers have decreased extensively due to non-stop safety provided through Long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs).
The removal of standing water from drains and flower pots and holes and ponds surrounding the house disrupts mosquito egg-laying.
To prevent mosquito breeding maintain a flowing water stream through all drainage systems.
Eliminate any overgrowth on home bushes since mosquitoes use them for hiding. Apply insecticide by spray or fogging methods if required.
Seek urgent medical attention at the first symptom of malaria which may include high temperature, cold sensations and pain in your head or body. The appropriate and quick medical intervention protects patients from the development of severe disease complications while simultaneously reducing transmission chances through mosquito bites.
Conclusion
Malaria poses a major health risk across the world because it impacts millions of individuals with special focus on tropical and subtropical areas. Proper control of this serious disease depends heavily on our ability to identify different malarial types and symptoms alongside understanding risk factors. Speedy identification followed by correct medication at the beginning of the illness proves essential for minimizing health complications and saving lives.
