My favourite dry fruit for brain 🧠 health
Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed Your favourite dry fruit for brain health as part of my participation in this 👉contest organized by @khursheedanwar
Walnuts are my favorite fruits for brain health. This is a dry fruit I like buying each time I come across it in the market or see someone eating it I do have an appetite to eat it as well. Here is the reason why it is my favorite dry fruit for brain health.
Benefits:
Walnuts are very rich in omega-3 fatty acids which is an excellent plant-based Source of alpha-linolenic acids. When it comes to maintaining function and brain structure Omega 3 is needed as it helps to protect against cognitive decline, improve neuronal communication, and so on.
Walnuts are high in antioxidants since they contain vitamin E, polyphenols, etc which help to protect our brain cells from oxidative stress which is caused by free radicals. Also, antioxidants help to minimize inflammation in the brain, slowing the progression of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
Also, another reason why walnuts are my favorite dry fruits is that they help to boost my memory and learning. It is rich in nutrients like polyunsaturated fat, folate, and magnesium that support memory.
Since tryptophan which is found in walnuts it makes walnuts to support mood regulation which means by eating walnuts one can feel good. I do eat it to reduce depression and anxiety.
Also, walnuts help to promote synaptic plasticity with the support of flavonoids thy is in walnuts which assist our brain in adapting and forming new connections. In summary the benefits of walnuts dry fruits in terms of brain function can be summarised as follows: memory recall and retention, enhanced focus and concentration, better way of solving problems.
