"Emergencies"

Merry christmas and a prosperous new year in advance to all my fellow amiable steemians in this community it's a pleasure to have you in my blog which am so delighted to participate in this amazing contest titled, "Emergencies" organized by @helengutier2. here in #Healthy-Steem.

Emergency as stated in this contest can be seen as an unexpected or and urgent situation that requires immediate response and attention because it might be risky or dangerous to our life, health or property as the case might be.

Just like the organizer earlier side that We have all had an emergency at some point, it could have been a traffic accident, a fall, pain or something that motivated us to go to the emergency room or have had to call an ambulance which is absolutely true because we all have been or witness emergency situation in one way or the other.

Children sometimes involves in some kind of risky play that can cause them harm without even knowing or having the sense of thinking of something like that, the reason am saying this is because of what happened to me when I was 10 years old when I was playing with my friends in a condemned building close to our house though we usually play together there, let me just call the place our play center where we meet together to play and have fun together despite the warning and beating i got from my parents not to go there that is very dangerous playing in an old building i still sneak out to do so.

So unfortunately something bad happened to me one day when we where playing a game called catch me if you canthe rule of the game was that one of us have to chase the others and anyone he catches will be the next to do thesame, when one of my friend was chasing all of us we ran into a room inside the condemned building hoping to jump down through the open window as we use to so we were struggling on who to jump down first since the chaser is coming and nobody want to be catch so me and my friend have to jump down at once which I ended up falling down and a glass that burst through and penetrate my wrist that moment I just felt a little pain because i didn't notice that it was something serious, so when I stand up I checked my hand only to see a blood coming out from my hand that was when I became anxious and I started feeling pain so much pain, since the place is not far from house just a stone throw I have to rush home and some of my friend accompany me with the blood still coming out even when I used my shirt to cover it, when I got home my mom ask me what is the problem I just opened the wound covered with my shirt and she was like how manage and I told her immediately she gave me a dirty slap on my chick because she usually warned me not to play in that place but I always give her deaf ears, after that she still have some sympathy to take me to a nearby hospital which one of the nurses there stitch and dressed up the wound and it was given some drugs and injection which helped reduce the pain, after that day I will say i really learned my lesson in a hard way and the mark on my wrist now remains my the price of been disobedience to my parents.
