Brain tumor.
Overview Of Brain Tumor
To the best of my knowledge, brain tumor is known as the abnormal growth of cells in the brain or nearby structure. Brain tumors can be malignant cancerous, benign non-cancerous. Tumors can develop in the Brain or spread across from another part of the body.
Symptoms
The symptoms of a brain tumor vary based on the size location, and the rate of growth of the brain tumor. Having said that the symptoms of a brain tumor include the following:
- Persistent headaches which usually get worse in the morning
- Seizures which usually happen to adults, have cognitive issues like loss of memory confusion.
- Ringing in the ears, or hearing loss
- Difficulty with coordination and balance
- Difficulty in speaking
- Having weakness or numbness in a face it limb.
Causes
The main causes of brain tumors are usually hard for someone to know, because of the risk that is associated with them. However, there are two major environmental causes and lifestyle risks.
Environmental Causes
- Genetic mutations and history of family having brain tumors
- A weakened immune system can cause brain tumor
- Exposure to radiation can also cause brain tumor
Lifestyle Factors
- Gender
- Age
- chemical exposure.
Treatment
The treatment for brain tumors is as follows
Surgery: One can go for primary treatment for accessible tumors, biopsy, and partial or complete removal.
Chemotherapy: One can use drugs to slow or kill tumor growth, also given intravenously or all can help. Also practicings physical therapy.
