Today I bring to you the post about beauty and self care with herbs that started on week 6 of 21 week. I learned a lot from the previous 5 herbal topics and thank you teacher @afzalqamar for that.


🌿01.Herbal Hair Tonic: Make a herbal hair tonic to promote the health the of the hairs. Write the herbs used in the tonic. Explain how the tonic will help for the hair health. Write the step by step process of making hair tonic.

I thought today I would share with you the herbal hair tonic that I usually use.


INGREDIENTS


  • Guava Leaves 8 -10
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tea spoon
  • water

Making process


☘️ First, wash the guava leaves well with clean water. Then put the leaves in a pan and add 3 cups of water. Then add fenugreek seeds to it and keep it on the stove.

☘️ Boil well for about 10 minutes. If the leaves are slightly discolored and the water is discolored, the leaves have been boiled well.

☘️ Then remove this from the stove and strain the water separately into another cup.


HOW TO USE


Then let it cool down. Then put it in a spray bottle or another container and rub it well on the hair and scalp.

I recommend the spry bottle but unfortunately my spry bottle is broken, so I poured a small amount on my head and massaged it.

Then massage gently for a few minutes. Do not massage hard. Then wash the hair after about 10 minutes.

GUAVA LEAVES


Guava leaf hair tonic is a natural hair remedy that can help with hair growth, scalp health and hair texture.

  • Hair growth

Vitamin B and C in guava leaves nourish hair follicles and contribute to hair growth. The antioxidant properties of the leaves prevent hair damage.

FENUGREEK SEEDS

Fenugreek seeds contain protein, iron and vitamins that promote hair growth. It helps iron carry oxygen-rich blood to the scalp, which can support healthy hair growth.

  • Hair conditioner.

The lecithin and nicotinic acid in fenugreek seeds can nourish the scalp and nourish the hair follicles.

  • Thickness of hair

The protein and amino acid content of fenugreek seeds helps in hair growth.

  • Premature graying.

Fenugreek has iron and potassium, which helps prevent premature graying.


🌿02.Skin Care Mask: Prepare a mask for the skin purely made with the herbs and use at least 3 herbs to prepare a mask. Write down the procedure and explain how it helps for the skin care.


This face mask is also one that I use regularly.

INGREDIENTS

  • Saffron threads 1 tea spoon
  • Row milk 4 table spoon
  • Sandalwood Powder 1 table spoon

MAKING PROCESS


☘️ First of all, take the saffron and put it in a bowl, add milk to it and mix it well with a spoon.

☘️ When the milk becomes a light yellow colour add sandalwood powder to it and make a thick paste.


HOW TO APPLY


Then apply the paste on freshly washed face.Then massage your face in a circular motion and take a break for about 25 minutes. Then wash your face with clean water.

Saffron face mask benefits.


Anti aging

Wrinkles, fine lines and other signs of aging caused by free radicals are neutralized by antioxidants (Crocin and Safranal) in saffron, leaving skin looking younger and brighter.

Brightens the skin

🌿03.Relaxing Bath Soak: Make a bath soak with herbs and write about its benefits for relaxation and self care.


The herbal bath goes back a long way.This ancient practice of herbs bath is a wonderful way to nourish your body, tend to your nervous system and indulge in a deep self-care ritual.

These herbal baths are very popular around the world with lavender, rosemary, rose, and many other herbs.
This sensual, mind-soothing herbal aroma really grounds the body and refreshes the mind.
And extracting a plant's constituents from water synchronizes its healing properties and makes them more bioavailable to us. By soaking in these herbs, our skin, the largest organ of the body, can absorb the beneficial properties of the herbs.

And by connecting to the olfactory system through the power of smell, the mind calms down.


Now let's see how making your daily bath with herbs an easy self-care can affect your health.


  • To relax tense muscles.
  • To enter for a peaceful ,clam and satisfying sleep.

  • Improves health by stimulating digestion.

  • Soften the skin
  • Aid in natural detoxification
  • To improve the immune system.

Now let's see how we use herbs for a simple bath soak.
I used CINNAMON for that.

First I put water in a pan and added some pieces of cinnamon to it. After a few minutes, the water will boil. Then the water turns bronze color.
Right now, a sweet CINNAMON smell is spreading throughout the environment.
Then filter the water and add it to the bath tab.
Now ready for bath soak.

self care, self love all these things bring mental happiness and comfort. So you can create your own bath oasis at home as a treat for yourself.

  • Light a candle and play soothing music.
  • Massage your skin with a homemade scrub before showering.

This gives you a practical and transformative healing experience.
