Hello everyone everyone, I welcome to my blog today. Below is my entry to the contest about our Health fitness and body type.

What is fitness?

In my own definition, I define fitness as a over all well being and physical health that is gotten from exercise, balanced diet and physical activity.


Fitness also involves the maintenance of a good level of muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, body composition and flexibility, that allows someone to carry out his/her daily activities very sound without fatigue.


👉 how many types of body do we have, and What is your body type?


There are three (3) main body types and I would like to list them below:

  • The first body type is Ectomorph, we see this body type as slender physique and lean, and it's very fast in getting metabolism and very hard om gaining fat and muscle.

  • Second body type is Mesomorphs, this body type is known for its muscular build and natural athletic with medium metabolism and broad shoulders. People with this body type easily lose and gain weight and also tend to excel in thier physical activities.

  • The third body type is Endomorph, this body type has rounded body shape and very soft, it's has the tendency to gain fat easily cos it's slower in metabolism. They struggle with losing weight and have Large frame.

And about my body, body type is a genetic predisposition for some certain physical and general physique characteristics. And with the list of body types above that I have mention, I have been able to recognize my own body type which is "Ectomorph" .


It's also important to note that body type act as guide and does not define individual beauty. And it's body type comes In different sizes and shapes and has its own unique strengths.


Embrace your body type, cos it's an essential way of cultivating body positivity and self love.


👉 What is the appropriate time we should stop eating?


I can't specify the time exact time an individual should stop eating as it can vary due to Individual lifestyle, personal preference and metabolism.

But I would recommend that you should finish eating few hrs to your bed time, this gives time for digestion to take place and can help promote good sleep, adding to that, it's would be much better to avoid eating heavy snacks or Large meals close to the time you are to go to sleep as it's may not make you feel comfortable and disrupt digestion


👉What kind of food should we eat to maintain healthy life?.

If you want to maintain a healthy life, it's essential to consume foods that is balanced and nutrients rich diet. I would like to list some essential foods that we can eat to maintain our healthy life.

  • Include whole grains such a as brown rice, quinoa, oats and whole wheat in your foods. This grains are good in fiber and helps sustained energy

  • Incorporate fruits and vegetables in your meals as they provides essential minerals, antioxidants , vitamins and fiber

  • To maintain healthy life we need amino acids, it's helps in cell growth, repair and over all good health, to get this nutrients include lean sources of proteins in your food like legumes, fish and tofu

  • We need God brain function, healthy heart and hormones production, to achieve this opt for good sources of healthy fats like nuts, olive oil and avocados.

  • Lastly, We need hydration to regulate body temperature and digestion, make sure to drink enough water throughout your to stay hydrated


👉Is fitness healthy or not


Fitness can be seen healthy only if it's approved in a sustainable way. Maintaining a healthy diet, getting enough rest and carrying out your physical activity are the important for over all wellbeing and fitness.

Engaging in regular exercise boost out immune systems, improves cardiovascular health and enhance our mental health, it's can also increase put flexibility, endurance and strength. Engaging yourself in exercises like runnings, swimming and weightlifting can improve mood and reduce the high risk of chronic diseases.


👉 State the important of fitness

  • Fitness helps our physical health, engaging in exercises and physical activity helps strengthen bones and muscles and improve cardiovascular heálth. And like I have already mention it's can reduce the high risk of chronic diseases like stroke, type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

  • Exercise have proven to have positive effects on our mental health by reducing depression and anxiety. During exercise, endorphins is released, endorphins enhances our mood and improves sleep quality.

In Conclusion

Fitness is very important for maintaining a healthy life and preventing a wide range if health issues. It's also important for improving our daily functions.
